Editor’s note:  “The entire staff of Veterans Today and her sister publications are outraged at Judge Berman’s abuses, not just in sentencing an innocent victim but in staging an unjust trial.  Serving the United States with honor has now become much more difficult.  Every American serving in Afghanistan is now facing new enemies because of this outrage.  I can think of nothing that could have been done to endanger the United States more than the actions of this court.”

23 September 2010

On the afternoon of 23rd September 2010 Pakistani neuroscientist and mother of three Aafia Siddiqui was sentenced to 86 years on five charges by Judge Berman in a Manhattan courtroom.

The Justice for Aafia Coalition released the following statement:

“We are deeply saddened by the harsh sentence passed on Dr Aafia Siddiqui by Judge Richard Berman today. At such a difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Aafia’s family, who have been separated from her since March 2003.

It has now been over seven and a half years since Dr Siddiqui was abducted with her three young children by Pakistani and American agencies. She has since been separated from her children and family, detained in a series of secret prisons and physically and psychologically abused by her captors. Following a blatantly prejudiced and unfair trial in which little conclusive evidence of her guilt was presented, she was found guilty.

We hoped that Judge Berman would have opened his eyes to the manifest injustice that has been committed against Dr Siddiqui and repatriated her to her country. But it seems that Judge Berman was adamant in his position despite the enormous level of public support for Aafia. Last week, Iran, in a goodwill gesture, released Sarah Shourd, an American woman accused of espionage, a crime against the state punishable by death. We are disappointed that the United States has been unable to exercise a similar degree of mercy and leniency in the case of another innocent woman who stands accused of crimes against its government.

While we are disappointed by Judge Berman’s decision, we condemn in the strongest terms the stance of the Pakistani government towards this beloved daughter of the nation. While we must never look to the wolf for protection, we expect the shepherd to care for his flock. The Pakistani government has from the outset been complicit in Aafia’s disappearance and detention, and has displayed nothing but contempt for its people and dignity through its cowardly stance in requesting her repatriation. They are a stain upon the honourable reputation of the country.

JFAC will continue the struggle for justice for Dr Aafia to try and secure her freedom and unite her with her family and loved ones. We remind Aafia’s supporters that this struggle may seem tiresome but as Imam Ahmad advised his student, we will only find rest when our feet set foot in paradise.”

1. The Justice for Aafia Coalition is an umbrella body for a number of organizations, groups, and activists created in February 2010 to campaign for the release and return of Aafia Siddiqui and for the opening of a full investigation into the circumstances of her detention.

2. Aafia Siddiqui’s lawyers maintain that she was abducted by the Pakistani and US agents along with her three children in 2003 and rendered to Afghanistan where she was detained by American forces for over five years. Siddiqui claims she was abused and tortured throughout her detention. She was convicted in February 2010 of allegedly firing on US soldiers while in custody in what appears to have been a grave miscarriage of justice. Her son Ahmed was released in September 2008 from Afghan custody, and her daughter Maryam was eventually recovered in April 2010. For full details of the case, please visit

btw yes I have read it, and would also point out that the Fed and Treasury don’t “work together”, the Treasury was actually deeded to the Fed circa 1933, which makes it nothing more than the clearinghouse and cover for the criminal theft of our nation’s wealth (via the foreign agents aka the IRS, HQ’d in Puerto Rico.

Check out the actual US Code pertaining to the office of the Secretary of the Treasury, he is actually not paid by the Federal Government nor is he an actual member of the Cabinet. You’ll be surprised what you turn up.

I appreciate your argument and am well aware of their infiltration and machinations at our expense, however, I woas only commenting on the nature of what “they” ARE, not what they command in terms of resources (OUR nation, THEIR cabal).

A woman who was kidnapped, held in a black site hell hole CIA prison, tortured and gang raped for years–and her children were there to either witness the horror or get raped themselves–gets 86 years in prison?

She must know some horrible truths about the 9/11 false flag.

RIP America and enjoy your life on your Zionist’s Master’s plantation.

Penumbra, I’d say both cabal and nation. As Joe Sobran joked, if only their “dual loyalty” was, in fact, dual, we might not be so bad off. Through their control of banking, the Fed, and Treasury they and a complicit Congress are able to direct the capital resources of our nation at will to serve their ends without resort to direct taxes. I’ve tried to point out that there is at least one litmus test to determine whether our elected congressmen represent the interests of the American people, or if they are, in the real sense of the term, de facto agents of this cabal. That test would be a congressman’s willingness to audit the Fed. Including the mysterious recasting of the gold it holds on official accounts in a way suggesting it is either gone or encumbered.

I wonder how many readers on this site are familiar with the Federal Reserve and know that it was from its inception a conspiracy to implement the Rothschild plan for controlling a nation by controlling its money supply, counterfeiting dollars at will to pay for, among other things, these wars and implement our enslavement by transferring wealth to captive voting blocks, with trillions in skim going to that very same cabal we speak of. Many of them have wealth in the hundreds of millions, all of which is theft.

I also wonder if our troops would feel quite so patriotic knowing they are being paid with counterfeit dollars; that is, by a Treasury working hand in glove with the Fed in a scheme that is no different than stealing the money from the very same families and fellow citizens they believe they’re protecting.

Have you read Griffin’s “Creature from Jekyll Island,” which fleshes out that conspiracy with names and faces? If you have, I would appreciate hearing your views on the role of the Fed in implementing the cabal’s agenda.

“…surely as if we’d been conquered by a hostile nation. Come to think of it, that’s precisely what has happened.”

Actually, invaded by a cabal rather than a nation. Significant difference.

We’re also being prepared for a new economic order setting our standard of living back to pre-WWII days, which will be the price we pay for our government’s subjugating this nation to Israel. This is going on across many fronts, such as eco-Marxist calls for radical restrictions on our energy use, transporation options, the water we drink, and even the food we eat. Republicans and Democrats who support these wars while simultaneously condemning the runaway growth in debt conveniently ignore the fact that the greater part of this debt is wasted on these wars. The Treasury cranks out bonds by the trillions to pay for the surrogate wars, while what the public and foreigner won’t buy, the Fed simply creates the dollars out of thin air to buy. So, we face a two-headed catastrophe over these wars; one, the national debt, which will suffocate economic growth and prosperity for generations, and, two, the inevitable inflation caused by the Fed’s flooding the world with dollars which will drive down our standard of living as surely as if we’d been conquered by a hostile nation. Come to think of it, that’s precisely what has happened.

And I thought Musharraf was a good guy since Pakistan was stable during his regime. Don’t know what to believe and what not!

Welcome to the true tyranny, the one we were raised to wag our fingers at in other countries of the world. Hypocrisy incarnate shows its ugly Zionist face right here in the land of apple pie, baseball and ignorant uninformed sheep.

That out of the way (sorry, anger levels are peaking today) the thought has occurred to me how this fits in the months long program of the pending false flag attack expected before year’s end.

Consider that we have had repeated dire punditry of the role of Pakistan in allegedly supporting some newfangled “Al Qaida” organizations leading to the laughable claim of a Pakistani attempting to blow up Times Square (with a smoke bomb) so as to further the bogus “evil Muslim” narrative in the public psyche. Now we have the public treated to the utter miscarriage of justice and completely decontextualized scripted accounts of the villainy of Dr. Siddiqui worthy of such transparent injustice, a fact certainly not lost on the Muslim world, particularly Pakistan.

So, of course, it stands to reason that in the perverted thought process of the Game Theorists of Tel Aviv and their willing agents/assets in NY and D.C., this harsh sentence and reports of the public outrage it has created provides the pre-scripted answer to the question “Why would they do such a terrible thing?” that will be surely regurgitated ad infinitum (along with images of the typical planted “evidence”) by the MSM mouthpieces in the aftermath of the next Mossad psy-op.

The pieces are falling into place. No concrete evidence ever required, just widespread “belief”.

The judicial system in this country has degenerated into political theater. Outrageous disproportionality in sentencing is often the greater crime, as it is in this case. When sentencing is perverted to serve political ends, we should fear for ourselves, since Berman’s ilk will have no compunction doing the same to Americans.

She was kidnapped by a gang..and sold to the CIA. Musharraf’s son did the deal.

  15. Faiz  September 23, 2010 at 8:12 pm

  16. Linda G Richard  September 23, 2010 at 7:36 pm

Thanks you guys. I have seen so much hatred from other veterans.. and so much good from you, IVAW, and Winter Soldiers. You give me hope.

This is a horrific crime. I’ve been sick about it.. to think what kind of message this sends out. And what she has endured for all these years. This has gotten worse and worse as the years go on. I do not understand why Americans are so blind. But.. not all of us are. But too many… not enough of the awake. Thanks again.

American “outrage” is ridiculously impotent…too much fluoride, too much Television programming, too much public “education”!

  18. Penumbra  September 23, 2010 at 3:13 pm

There is no justice in the US, especially from a Zio-fascist “Judge”, simple as.

Berman should be defrocked and disbarred and cast into the deepest hell hole one can find for the rest of his natural life. Perhaps then he might discover the depth of his betrayal to Dr. Siddiqui, to his oath of office, to the rule of law and to humanity.

Welcome to the US, Land of the fee and home of the enslaved.
