Retired Military Personnel To Confirm UFO Incursions at American Nuclear Weapons Sites

UFOs Visited Nuclear Weapons Sites, Former Air Force Officers Say

By Lee Spiegel for AOL News
(Sept. 21) — UFOs have monitored and possibly tampered with American nuclear weapons, according to a group of former Air Force officers who will make their claims public next week at a Washington, D.C., news conference.
“While most of the incidents apparently involved mere surveillance, in a few cases, a significant number of nuclear missiles suddenly and simultaneously malfunctioned, just as USAF security policemen reported seeing disc-shaped craft hovering nearby,” says Robert Hastings, author of “UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.”
On Monday, at the National Press Club, Hastings will present six former Air Force personnel who will break their silence and disclose dramatic first-hand experiences with UFOs at nuclear weapons sites.
In a statement, Hastings said, “At long last, all of these witnesses are coming forward to say that, as unbelievable as it may seem to some, UFOs have long monitored and sometimes tampered with our nukes.” Hastings’ co-host for the news conference, ICBM launch officer Capt. Robert Salas, was witness to a UFO incident in 1967 that, he says, caused a missile disruption at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, and he was ordered to keep quiet about it. “The Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases, and we can prove it,” Salas said.
Another officer scheduled to appear at Monday’s conference, Col. Charles Halt, witnessed a disc-shaped object shooting beams of light onto the joint Anglo/American RAF Bentwaters airbase in England in 1980. The lights were reportedly near the base’s nuclear weapons storage area. “I believe that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted — both then and now — to subvert the significance of what occurred at RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation.”
Along with the other officers who will be on hand to support this remarkable UFO agenda, Hastings says that he and the auspicious military group will discuss the national security implications of these and other UFO incidents, and they will urge the government to come clean about the subject.
In addition to declassified U.S. government documents that will be offered at the event, the group plans to address the following questions:
  • Why do UFOs continue to appear at nuclear weapons sites, decade after decade?
  • What might these incursions indicate about the intentions and goals of those who presumably pilot these craft?
  • Why has the U.S. government chosen to keep the American public, and people everywhere, in the dark about these dramatic developments?
Consider it the second barrel of the double-barreled shotgun, or the “two” of the proverbial “one-two punch”; the first being Leslie Kean’s new book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record and now the upcoming press conference being co-hosted by researcher Robert Hastings and former missleer (Minuteman I launch officer – Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander) Bob Salas. Hastings writes: “Declassified U.S. government documents and the testimony of more than 120 former or retired military personnel have established, beyond doubt, the reality of ongoing UFO incursions at American nuclear weapons sites.”
While most of the incidents apparently involved mere surveillance, in a few cases a significant number of nuclear missiles suddenly and simultaneously malfunctioned, just as USAF Security Policemen reported seeing disc-shaped craft hovering nearby. On September 27th, during a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. , six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will reveal their own dramatic experiences involving UFOs at nuclear weapons sites.
One of them, former Minuteman missile launch officer Robert Salas, is co-hosting the event with me. We hope to draw worldwide media attention to this vital issue by presenting the testimony of highly-credible individuals who witnessed extraordinary encounters which have officially been kept secret for decades. Five of these veterans were rigorously screened by the Air Force and authorized to launch or otherwise work with Weapons of Mass Destruction. Of the remaining two, one headed-up a USAF communications center where he learned of UFO activity at ICBM sites; the other witnessed a UFO directing laser-like beams of light down into a major military base—including the nuclear weapons depot, according to the radio chatter he overheard. At long last, all of these witnesses are coming forward to say that, as unbelievable as it may seem to some, UFOs have long monitored and sometimes tampered with our nukes. If ever there were a front page story, this is it.
At the press conference, Mr. Salas and I will be asking simple questions: Why do UFOs continue to appear at nuclear weapons sites, decade after decade? What might these incursions indicate about the intentions and goals of those who presumably pilot these craft? Why has the U.S. government chosen to keep the American public, and people everywhere, in the dark about these dramatic developments? Hasn´t the time come to speak the truth?
The purpose of this short article is to introduce, in alphabetical order, the individuals who will participate in the upcoming event:
Dwynne Arneson, retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel, was the Officer-in-Charge at the Malmstrom AFB, Montana, Communications Center in 1967, when he read a classified message concerning the sighting of a UFO hovering over one of the base´s Minuteman I Launch Facilities (silos), just as several missiles mysteriously malfunctioned. Although Arneson can not recall the designation of the missile “flight” mentioned, researchers now know that two UFO-related full-flight shutdowns—involving 10 missiles each—took place at Malmstrom in March of that year, at Echo and Oscar Flights.
Bruce Fenstermacher, retired USAF Captain, was a Minuteman III missile launch officer (Missile Combat Crew Commander) stationed at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming in 1976. His Security Alert Team reported a cigar-shaped UFO hovering low over his launch capsule, then ignored a direct order to pursue the object after it raced away and began moving from missile to missile in his flight. Fenstermacher´s squadron´s missile crews were briefed about the incident and told never to discuss it with anyone. Charles Halt, retired USAF Colonel, was the Deputy Base Commander at a joint Anglo/American airbase, RAF Bentwaters, in 1980. Among other events, Halt observed a disc-shaped UFO directing beams of light down into the base, at one point near the nuclear Weapons Storage Area (WSA), according to several Security Policemen on duty there.
Robert Jamison, former USAF Captain, was a Minuteman I missile targeting officer (Combat Targeting Team Commander) at Malmstrom AFB in 1967. He helped re-start the stricken missiles at Oscar Flight, where Bob Salas was on alert duty at the time of the full-flight shutdown. Jamison says that his team was explicitly briefed about a UFO-connection with the incident before going into the field, thereby corroborating Salas´ report of a UFO being sighted as it hovered over the Oscar Launch Control Facility at the time of the malfunctions.
Patrick McDonough, retired U.S. Navy Intelligence Command Master Chief, was a U.S. Air Force geodetic surveyor at Malmstrom AFB in 1966. A disc-shaped UFO briefly hovered some 300-ft. above his team as they worked at a newly-constructed missile silo. They fled the scene, rolling their truck in the process. A Montana State Policeman responding to the accident told the team that some 20 UFO reports had been made that night by civilians living in the area.
Jerry Nelson, former USAF 1st Lieutenant, was an Atlas-F missile launch officer (Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander) at Walker AFB, New Mexico in 1964. His security guards reported a UFO silently hovering over the Site 9 launch capsule on half-a-dozen occasions over the period of a month or so. The object directed a spotlight onto the missile, frightening the guards. Nelson´s reports to the base command post were seemingly ignored at the time, however, evidence has come to light suggesting that the incidents were classified Top Secret.
Bob Salas, former USAF Captain, was a Minuteman I launch officer (Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander) at Malmstrom´s Oscar Flight, on March 24, 1967, when all of his missiles dropped-off alert status—malfunctioned—just as one of his guards reported a UFO hovering over the Launch Control Facility´s security fence gate. Salas and his missile commander, now-retired Col. Fred Meiwald, were debriefed about the incident and asked to signed non-disclosure statements by an agent from the Office of Special Investigations (OSI). Meiwald has confirmed that, shortly after the malfunctions occurred, a two-man Security Alert Team was sent out to one of the flight´s missile silos to investigate a tripped alarm there. Upon approaching the site, the team saw a second (or the same) UFO hovering near it, whereupon they became frightened and quickly returned to the Launch Control Facility.”
“To present their information in the most credible manner possible, Mr. Salas and I have asked each of the press conference participants to sign legal affidavits attesting to their experiences. Those will be posted at this website following the event.”

The aliens have been concerned about nuclear weapons and their ability to destroy the planet for a long time now. They have been warning the nuclear powers, especially the US about their danger. The US military/intelligence community has been keeping this secret for more than 60 years since the revelation would undermine US dominance of the world – military, economic and political – see for more info.

  2. nancy  October 2, 2010 at 10:00 am

The fact that many credible men would come forward with this info, therefore risking their credibility tell me that there is something to more to this than “little green men” What could they gain by telling their story? They have everything to loose.

  3. Clamshell  October 2, 2010 at 12:56 am

Have we ever considered that these visits are from our own world? Attempting to correct prior mistakes that were made in the past? If Aliens are being discussed seriously on this board. Why not consider our own civilization in the future attempting to correct prior mistakes made by past generations.

  4. Dave  October 1, 2010 at 11:53 pm

How many foolish people believe in god,
but no one presents verifiable evidence.

  5. Ken Albin  September 30, 2010 at 7:33 pm

I’ve been telling people for years what this is all about. I’ve even put up the proof on YouTube. It’s Space Kitties!

  6. Jerry  September 30, 2010 at 5:01 pm

I whole heartedly agree! Like the little old lady in the commerical . . .
“Where’s the beef?” Until we see even a tiny fragment of real physical
fact, the truth about UFOs from outer space is just based on “belief”.
Sometimes humans are so Focused on Belief that they are Blinded
    by Reality/Facts.

so, many people believed that cigarettes cause cancer, but it took years to obtain verifiable proof. during that time many people died from cancer. so belief can be valid but our society is so transfixed by the scientific method that we become dysfunctional

  10. wyltk  September 29, 2010 at 9:39 am

they could be flexing thier muscles, just like humans do as a warning to let us know they have higher technology and if we get out of hand with our weapons they can shut them down. If I was an abductee I would not let any one know, stories like this could be a means of fooling you into telling secrets about them (aliens) so they can capture and use the aliens technology for thier own greed against humanity

To any one familiar with the “Earth Chronicles” by Zacharia Sitchin, especially “Genesis Revisited” and the “The 12th Planet” these incidents should come as no surprise. These Gods of our ancient past, creators of humans as we are today but NOT LIFE as such, just want to protect their creations as they have done so in the past (Deluge) and other occasions. With the intentions that some dumb ignorant human or two bit dictator with the finger on a nuclear trigger does not wipe everything out what had taken millennia’s to develop.

As long as humans went against each other with clubs, bows and arrows and later on with guns this was one story but after we advanced and learned how to harness the “Fire of Stars” this was an altogether different ball game and our custodians decided it may not be a bad idea to watch those crazy humans more closely before they self destruct and intervene from time to time before things got out of hand. Wouldn’t you?

    Who is Zacharia Sitchin ?

Zacharia Sitchin was raised in Palestine, where he acquired a profound knowledge of modern and ancient Hebrew, other Semitic and European languages, the old Testament, and the history and archeology of the near East. He attended the London School of Economics and Political Science and graduated from the University of London, majoring in economic history. A leading journalist and editor in Israel for many years, he now lives and writes in New York.

One of the few scholars able to read and understand Sumerian, Sitchin has based The Earth Chronicles, his recent series of books dealing with earth’s and man’s histories and prehistories, on the information and texts written down on clay tablets by ancient civilizations of the Near East. His books have been widely translated, reprinted in paperback editions, converted to Braille for the blind, and featured on radio and television programs.

rachel…rachel…rachel..(Oh! sorry…I just love that name) Don’t you believe that aliens do exist(?) After all, there is one in the White House who calls himself President.
What I don’t understand is how these military officers (retired, or not) are able to disclose “information”, when they have signed a confidentiality agreement, just like I did.
I was an enlisted man in the USAF where I worked in many weapon storage areas(WSA’s) at bases in the USA and overseas. I was also a Launch Control Facility (LCF) manager in a missile squadron.
When I was retiring after 20 years, I was told that I did not have the liberty to discuss any information that I gained while I served my country. There was no stated expiration date on the agreement that I signed. So, how are these folks able to ignore that in order to seek monetary gain(?)

  15. rachel  September 28, 2010 at 8:17 am

If a real landing were to occur it would NOT be on TV. If the media cannot control it…it will not be covered.

Another thought…if first contact happened thousands of years ago and we call them “gods” then why would they bother making first contact twice? They already been here, seen us and left on their own accord.

We are a dinky little planet on the very edge of the galaxy. We have no real value or pose any real threat to them. If anything we would be viewed as a science experiment…gone horribly wrong.

Beware of false gods and false aliens…especially ones with Israeli accents claiming to have a right to Palestinian land.

  16. Dennis Bourret  September 28, 2010 at 2:47 am

To all of those of you who think that the UFO/alien visitation stories are perpetrated by crackpots and loonies, you put yourselves in that catagory unquestionably. Do your research. There are over a dozen highly respected scientists and high brass military men who have gone into print to explain their observations and research on the subject–and they confirm the existance of both. There are at least four presidents who said that they’ve seen UFOs. I personally have seen five different kinds of nonhuman devised craft in broad daylight including one at a triangulated distance of 93 feet from my point of vision to the edge of the craft. And I have seen an an alien grey at a distance of less than ten feet. I am not a backwoods uneducated dummy. I hold three college degrees with eight and a half years of college, and am extremely respected in my field. My own findings will be published in the not too distant future. As for why the aliens haven’t landed on the White House lawn, the moderator of the panel in the National Press Club discussion in question mentioned it briefly. It would upset the entire human applecart economically, religiously, and politically, and the U.S. military would have to admit that they don’t rule the skies over our country. Try thinking about this question seriously instead of just going into denial. I’d be happy to provide you the names of the authorities tho have published these positive findings if you aren’t intellectually capable of looking them up yourself.

“There’s been a lot of talk that the bottom will fall out of the US economy in October”

So I understand, however I have a gut feeling that the actual crash will coincide more likely with the anticipated false flag nuke/bio weapon attack rather than this. Time will tell as it always does.

  18. Miller  September 27, 2010 at 8:25 pm

There’s been a lot of talk that the bottom will fall out of the US economy in October, so perhaps they are going for the maximum distraction potential of a staged alien invasion. That’s about the only thing that would put a stock market crash on page two or three of all the newspapers and instantly convert rage toward the bankers and government to fear of extra-terrestrials.

  19. Penumbra  September 27, 2010 at 7:36 pm

I smell a giant distraction that will, as always, have the public rivetted looking this spectacle while quietly, with malice aforethought, new legislation, long planned, will be signed into law with no word from the MSM.

Further consolidation of the FEMA executive orders for total societal control perhaps? Maybe sweeping new domestic Military powers in complete abrogation of Posse Comitatus?

  20. Miller  September 27, 2010 at 7:24 pm

True, it does always seem to be the backwards yokels who get beamed up, but I do have to say I have personally witnessed (from a frighteningly close distance) a spaceship that came out of the sky, hovered briefly at a standstill, then quietly sped off at the same 45 degree angle it appeared from back when I lived in rural NJ as a teenager. And I was with a friend who saw the exact same thing. And we weren’t stoned. Now maybe it was a secret military project, but it was quite large, cylindrical, with lights around the perimeter, and definitely like nothing we’d ever seen before. And it was early evening in the summer, still very light out. Yet all this sudden coordinated push to open up about UFO activity with the US, Great Britain, the Vatican and the U.N.- none of which I trust one iota- makes me very suspicious of what they’re laying the groundwork for.

  21. Penumbra  September 27, 2010 at 5:51 pm

Why is it everyone who claims to have absolute proof like this Billy Meier chap all seem to look like guru fruitcakes from some hippy collective? And it’s always backwoods yokels who get beamed up.

Take me instead, someone with a college degree at least, from a major metropolitan area in broad daylight so the questions can be put to rest once and for all from a credible source.

Pictures of welded hubcaps flung into the air just don’t convince anyone with critical rationale, sorry.

  23. Mike Mattes  September 27, 2010 at 12:01 pm

I want whatever these guys are smoking…..

  24. Miller  September 27, 2010 at 11:18 am

If the little green man says “Take me to your leader” with an Israeli accent, I think we’ll have our answer.

  25. Miller  September 27, 2010 at 11:12 am

Gee, if someone from NORAD is involved it must be on the up-‘n-up. Sounds more like an opportunity to try out global governance in response to global fear brought on by a global threat. Like a full-scale adaptation of the 1938 “War of the Worlds” broadcast but with much better special effects.

  26. Paul Raihle  September 27, 2010 at 9:34 am

I’m open to the fact that there may be alien life visiting the earth, anything is possible. But if this is true, what I can’t understand, is that the present administration promised to be transparent in ’08, and what better way than to open up about this?

Obama can take credit for it, shock the nation and world at what’s happened, and throw blame on Bush for treating us like children in hiding this, and probably save the Dem. majority in the house. The whole thing would be historic, and be remembered for generations, adding to his legacy.

Then again, it could all be a crock of S***.

  27. LeAnne  September 27, 2010 at 9:24 am

Is this story going to be aired? If so, does anyone know where we will be able to watch it? It will be very interesting to see and hear this.

  28. Lese Majeste  September 27, 2010 at 7:32 am

Interesting. But can these stories release be timed to coincide with the predection of a retired NORAD officer who claims alien space ships will hover over major cities on October 13, 2010?

Norad Officer’s New Book says -ALIENS ARE COMING!

And, he gives a date, just a short time away, October 13/2010?!
How does he know this date specifically? Apparently other lifeforms are telling him this.
Mark the date on your calender boys and girls!

    What to make of this?

A newly-published book by a retired NORAD officer predicts October 13, 2010 as the tentative date for a fleet of extraterrestrial vehicles to hover for hours over the earth’s principal cities. Author says the event to be the first in a series intended to avert a planetary catastrophe resulting from increasing levels of carbon-dioxide in the earth’s atmosphere dangerously approaching a “critical mass.”

A newly-published (?) 352-page book by a retired Air Force officer, Stanley A. Fulham, tentatively predicts October 13, 2010 as the date for a massive UFO display over the world’s principal cities. According to the author, the aliens will neither land nor communicate on that date; they are aware from eons of experience with other planets in similar conditions their sudden intervention would cause fear and panic.

The book, Challenges of Change (3rd ed.),( 3rd edition? How long has this book been around?) reports this event will be the initial interaction in a process leading to mankind’s acceptance of the alien reality and technologies for the removal of poisonous gases from the earth’s atmosphere in 2015, if not sooner.

Fulham writes it is generally recognized UFOs function beyond our earth’s physical laws, and has concluded answers to questions regarding who they are, where are they from, why are they here, are they a threat, and the mystery of abductions could only be found at a higher dimension of reality.
For more than a decade, through the services of a world renowned channeler, the author has communicated with an ethereal group of entities known as the Transcendors — 43,000 very old souls who combine their vast experience and knowledge through eons of incarnations, providing advice and information to humans in search of basic realities of mankind’s existence.

So, a retired NORAD officer (a perceived authority) is predicting a return of a saviour (religious connotations), that he himself is receiving from some ethereal entities (otherworldly, angels, demons, whatever sources)

What does this sound like to you? To me I am getting the psy-op, mind control kind of vibe.

Is this related to Project/Operation Bluebeam?

What’s the truth? I don’t know, guess we’ll have to wait until October 13.

But since the MOSSAD Studios produced videos of a DEAD ‘Bynjamin’ Laden making dire threats against America has worn thin and each day, the 9/11 Truth Movement is gaining believers, could this just be another psyops con job to keep us scared and under control?

  29. C  September 27, 2010 at 5:28 am

Yesterday I read an article saying the UN is to appoint an ambassador for ‘first contact’ with aliens. Today I read that these former US military personnel are ‘breaking their silence’ over alien visitations.

Next we’ll be hearing from the US government that it’s all true and that we are being invaded by little green men.

Of course, it will actually be one BIG lie, the purpose of which is to unite us all against a common enemy in order to expedite and justify a move toward a unified world government. One government, one law, one army, one nation.

This is the real story beneath all of the “UFO” controversy:

…and here is what Meier was told…in 1956:

““It is an obligation to all higher developed creatures, to assist less developed forms in a helpful manner of responsible measure, to influence the evolution in given measure. This duty is an obligation of all creatures of all universes, because it is a Creational Law. The Earth human has become able to destroy his world in an atomic explosion, which would bring very dangerous consequences for the whole system. To prevent further madness like this, is exactly the duty of
the more advanced races…An atomic destruction of this Earth could destroy your whole sun-system and push (the planets) out into the cosmos as extremely dangerous missiles. These could again destroy further sun-systems and produce cosmic catastrophe. Even neighboring
universes could be affected. Besides this, the sun-system moves in space in such a way that the catastrophe could spread to other systems in a form of chain reaction in your cosmos. A similar event is already known. A loss of Earth could distort the structure of space and time
and produce great damage. So it is our objective to prevent this eventuality, and together with many other creatures of other worlds of this universe to control the Earth and attempt to contain the already conjured mischief by Earth scientists, and head this off. That is our

Are you just a little curious why you’ve never known about this, even though it’s STILL ongoing in Switzerland for the past 68 years?

    == How to Bat 300 with Denver’s “Initiative 300” ==

The history of privately conducted UFO research — dating back to the 1950s, when retired Rear Admiral Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter (a former CIA chief) publicly affirmed the extraterrestrial nature of SOME of the reported UFO encounters — shows that without such veterans’ putting their experiences/conclusions on record, the research would’ve been the poorer.

Today, this fact of UFOlogical life particularly applies to the U. S. Navy’s intelligence-gathering and operational activity — for, all indications point to the Navy’s heavy hand in sustaining the U. S. government’s cover-up of the UFO-E.T. experience. To help end that stranglehold on official UFOtruth, Navy-connected whistleblowers now have the historic opportunity to advance the public’s right-to-know, and to compel the government’s duty-to-tell: by sharing their accounts with the proposed Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission being weighed by Denver, Colo., voters upon the general election Nov. 2, 2010. For more about this ballot “Initiative 300,” see the web site at .

And, of course, all military vets anywhere on the planet are encouraged to add their signatures to the supportive petition at . — Larry W. Bryant (26 Sep 10)

I am as intrigued by “those coming forward” as any legitimate truth seeker, but seriously my friend. Until and unless VERIFIABLE physical evidence of these matters (show us a ship, show us the the remains of the Roswell aliens, open up Area 51 to full transparent public inspection (or whatever site actually houses the alleged artifacts)) all we have is ANECDOTAL evidence and those who BELIEVE.

Belief is NOT fact, and only cold hard physical FACT is indisputable.

Until that day comes, I withhold judgment in favor of those matters which ARE empirically verifiable and all quite human in origin, namely the global power political machinations of verifiable human leaders, their governments, and the corporations that back them.

  36. Charles G.  September 26, 2010 at 4:10 am

I saw a little green man once, he was green with envy at the proliferation of our nuclear recharging facilities. My little brown dog told me not to tell anybody or he’d bite my heels.

    Charlie from California.

  37. Penumbra  September 26, 2010 at 3:28 am

So do these craft/beings/what-have-you only monkey around with our installations or are they sabotaging all nuclear powers’ facilities equally?

Wouldn’t it be much simpler for such beings to just issue an ultimatum to cease and desist with the global holocaust endeavors upon pain of intergalactic/interdimensional repercussions? Or are they given to the same sort of “national security” hogwash excuses as our criminal leaders?

Someone, Anyone, just produce a verifiable little green man and be done with the cloak and dagger foolishness.
