Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans

This past week a homeless Female Veteran was denied shelter and care at the West Los Angeles VA and forced to live for five days outside the entry gate to the National Veterans Home. In spite of notices sent to a large list of powerful politicians, VA bureaucrats, homeless organizations and the news media, it was an LA County Supervisor who came to her rescue. The fact that he was in China and notified his staff in LA via his Blackberry while nearby politicians and their deputies sat and remained silent, is news!

It’s important to know that the only politician who offered help, LA County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, is a Veteran. And the only major news coverage we received on this torturous crime against humanity was from “VT,” the largest Veterans news organization in the nation.

As we know, it’s been the Veterans who have fought for our Nation’s homeland, and it’s the Veterans who now have to fight for our own Veterans Home land.

Sunday will be an historic day as we’re holding the “Veterans Press Conference” to announce “Claiming Ownership to Our Land.”

Commander Stephen Sherman, a disabled 90-year old World War II Veteran, will read the Veterans “Notice to Vacate,” calling for the immediate and unconditional vacating of our sacred land by any and all tenants who are in violation of the Congressional Act of 1877 and the Land Grant Deed of 1888.

We will read the Veterans “Declaration of Ownership” as we rightfully declare that this land belongs solely to United States Military Veterans, particularly those who are disabled and disadvantaged.

Leadership from Vietnam Veterans of America and Paralyzed Veterans Association, and other Veteran organizations, will be speaking out about the abuse of our land and to our fellow Veterans, declaring that “Never again will an American Military Veteran be denied shelter and care at the Los Angeles National Veterans Home.”

Ron Kovic, 100% disabled Marine combat Veteran of the Vietnam War and legendary author of the famed movie “Born on the Fourth of July,” will deliver a very special message.

While the local and national media felt that a homeless Female Veteran being dumped on the sidewalk by the biggest VA in the nation was not newsworthy, we’ve reached out to the British Broadcast Corporation (BBC) and Canada Free Press for coverage.

What a shame that the men and women who have defended “Freedom of the Press” for our nation’s news organizations have to go outside our country to seek news coverage.

We’ve said all along that while the misappropriation of Veterans land and the maltreatment of Veterans are BIG stories, the BIGGER story will eventually be why was it suppressed for so long.

Who’s the “crime boss” behind the biggest land-fraud scam in American history? We will eventually find out as we demand FBI and Congressional Investigations into the organized crime that has aided and abetted in stealing Veterans land and forcing 20,000 disabled and disadvantaged Veterans to be homeless and hungry.

Join us this Sunday as we transition from “Saving Our Land” to “Claiming Ownership to Our Land.” See attachment

Show up and support our Veterans.

God Bless America and The Veterans Revolution.
