In this edition of the Autograph, Susan Modaress interviews Dr. Alan Sabrosky, a ten-year US Marine Corps Veteran and a graduate of the US Army War College. A writer and consultant, specializing in national and international security affairs, who with astonishing candor discloses intriguing facts on the implication of Israel in 9/11 events that are by and large unheard of in mainstream media.
Anyone watching the following interviews and the BBC documentary couldn’t fail to put 2 and 2 together. It got me pretty furious, but I imagine that if you’re American, this would arouse fierce anger, shock, and indignation and make your blood boil.
I believe once we have cracked the wall built around 9-11, the entire edifice of lies will crumble. As soon as the question becomes legitimate to Americans they will not wait for the answers, they will move. They will probably do a lot of damage, much of it in the wrong places, but they will move, and they will take the wind out of Zionism or send it running for cover.
The collapse of a third building at the World Trade Center (WTC) on 9/11 in what is visibly a controlled demolition, negates the official US interpretation in the “9/11 Commission Report”, and thus the rationale for America’s ongoing wars & the so-called “Patriot Act.”
Visible proof rather than verbal assertion that whatever 19 Arabs on 4 planes did or did not do on 9/11, neither they nor their supporters elsewhere had the expertise, access & local support to wire even one WTC building for a controlled demolition, much less three of them. Dr. Sabrosky has repeatedly cited the well known demolition expert Danny Jowenko’s views and interview in his recent articles and interviews. A few days after Dr. Sabrosky’s Press TV interview, Danny Jowenko was killed in a one-car crash. Yet the dog in the car with him survived….
As a follow up Dr. Sabrosky writes about putting ideas into Action…
I wanted to update everyone on a talk I gave the day after the PressTV interview, and how that impacted my ideas on how to outline a strategy to proceed to move ahead and do something about this in the future other than let this disappear into the cybernetic dustbin.
1. A talk to a church. Basically, I was invited by the senior pastor of a large evangelical church in PA (an Assemblies of God congregation, same one as Sarah Palin’s) to address the pastors and lay leaders of the church on 9/11 (he also invited a couple of other local pastors, also evangelicals but different denomination).
This matters, because as I learned (some of you might already know this), aside from a belief in “rapture,” they are also committed to both American exceptionalism and Israeli exceptionalism, and the latter sets them apart from most other US Christians (e.g., Catholics). The invitation came out of the blue, the senior pastor had himself had doubts of the government story about 9/11, had read some of my work, and made the invitation.
So I went to the church and gave them (in this sequence) part of my slideshow (parts dealing with the USS Liberty incident and the 9-11 material, then the Jowenko video on WTC7, then about 4 minutes of the “Sounds on the Ground” video (parts on secondary explosions at the base of the twin towers, media reports of same, etc.), then wrapped it up discussing role of people in place, the motivation-expertise-access combo, and the implications thereof. Oh, yes: I began with a brief indirect overview of me, pointing out that when the USS Liberty incident occurred, I was in Vietnam with the Marines, which also got their attention.
By the end of the presentation (about 50 minutes, including the slideshow & the two videos) and nearly two hours of Q&A, certain themes became apparent (and my wife, who was present, picked up on them faster than me). One was that “things military” mattered more for me than “things academic” insofar as my credibility was concerned – i.e., service in the Marines in Vietnam and later the Army War College meant more than a Michigan PhD and teaching at Georgetown – yet another reason to have our outreach made by, or include, a veteran, no matter what the audience.
Another is that I have been wrong when I have dismissed the USS Liberty incident as too many years in the past to matter. The audience was literally riveted by the incident itself (none had ever heard or read of it before, and all were educated people), by the visible contrast between the US & Egyptian ships, by the photographic evidence of the ship’s identity before and after the attack, and the recall of US fighters twice. So when I rework the presentation, I am going to include more material on the USS Liberty incident, and if possible a few minutes of a video on it (maybe the BBC documentary below).
A third is that at the end, everyone present was outraged by the USS Liberty incident (more because of what the US Government had done than because of what Israel had done), all but one present believed that the official US Government version of 9/11 is either incomplete or an outright lie, BUT barely half accepted Israel’s role in it (and this is because of their commitment to Israeli exceptionalism – one woman asked how they could continue end their services with a prayer for Israel if it had done that, so she would not accept Israel’s complicity or guilt for 9/11 rather than reject the doctrine of her church).
2. Hitting Congress at Town Meetings. A classic set of questions is why no one talks about WTC7 or the secondary explosions at the base of the Twin Towers (which the impacting airliners could not have caused), or the van with explosives, or the van with the “dancing Israelis” — these are enough to cause almost all of them to twist in the wind. And if they waffle on Israel, then refer back to the USS Liberty incident as a precedent (they attacked Americans once for their own interests, why wouldn’t they do it again?), which of course opens up that incident.
We are making progress when a major media outlet such as the BBC airs in such detail the USS Liberty incident, especially after the 9/11 incident.
During the Six-Day War, Israel attacked and nearly sank the American Spy ship USS Liberty belonging to its closest ally, the USA. Thirty-four American servicemen were killed in the two-hour assault by Israeli warplanes and torpedo boats.
Israel claimed that the whole affair had been a tragic accident based on mistaken identification of the US Spy ship.
The American government accepted the explanation. For more than 30 years many people have disbelieved the official explanation but have been unable to rebut it convincingly.
Now, Dead in the Water uses startling new evidence to reveal the truth behind the seemingly inexplicable attack. The film combines dramatic reconstruction of the events, with new access to former officers in the US and Israeli armed forces and intelligence services who have decided to give their own version of events.
Interviews include President Lyndon Johnson’s Secretary of Defence Robert McNamara, former head of the Israeli navy Admiral Shlomo Errell and members of the USS Liberty crew.

The BBC documentary seems to have been broadcast in August 2008, Anthony Lawson, has covered this attack recently in his video below beginning at: Counter 2:00
The Liberty was monitoring Israel’s every communication, and I’m sure that the full story is yet to be told. This video refers to Admiral Thomas Moorer, former commander of the U.S. 7th Fleet, who wrote his damning commentary on the event in the January 16, 2004 edition of the Stars and Stripes.
A closer look at how the members of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee exercise a grotesquely disproportionate amount of power over the foreign policy of the United States.
Because of the uncertainties and ambiguities associated with U.S. aid to Israel, arriving at a precise figure for total direct U.S. aid to Israel probably is not possible.
Parts of it are buried in the budgets of other government agencies—mostly the Defense Department—or in a form not easily quantifiable—such as the early disbursement of aid, allowing Israel a direct gain and the U.S. Treasury a direct loss of interest on the unspent money.
The figures quoted in the video have been taken from the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, November 2008, pages 10-11; subtitled Congress Watch. A Conservative Estimate of Total Direct U.S. Aid to Israel: Almost $114 Billion
Treason from Within
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the galleys, heard in the very hall of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor — he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and wears their face and their garment, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation — he works secretly and unknown to undermine the pillars of a city — he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.” Cicero, 42 B.C.
