Israeli Rabbis Greet Iran’s President Ahmadinejahd in NYC on Yom Kippur

New York Rabbi’s Meet with Ahmadinejad on Yam Kappur 2012

Israeli Rabbis Greet Iran’s President Ahmadinejahd in NYC on Yom Kippur

by Susan Lindauer

In a video you won’t see on CNN or ABC, Israeli Sephardic Rabbis Greeted Ahmadinejahd in New York City on Yom Kippur.

Iran’s President was visibly moved by the emotional prayers for peace and friendship spoken by the Israeli Rabbis.  The Sephardic Rabbis praised Iran’s leaders for 1,000 years of peaceful relations with 50,000 Jewish families in Tehran.

This extraordinary event might account for Ahmedinejahd’s  subdued criticism of Israel in his speech on the floor of the United Nations later that day. Major media have observed that Iran’s President only briefly mentioned Israel once.  Nobody asked why he might have softened his tone.

Let’s make this video go viral, people! There’s great hope for peace, if we can follow these Rabbis’ superb example and treat each other with respect.

Message sent to me with youtube link. If after watching this you do not begin to understand how people are being deceived then you are in a coma.   And we all deserve to suffer the consequences of our ignorance.

For all the evangelical fanatics out there, who think the conflict in the middle east is a holy war against Islam, consider the fact that for thousands of years,  Iran has had a flourishing jewish community.  This community is protected by law under the Iranian Constitutiion.   Iran currently has the largest Jewish population in the middle east outside of the state of Israel.
Note that the Rabbis in this film clip are Orthodox Jews and are probably of Sephardic extraction.  Listen carefully.  The spokesman constantly refers to “True Torah” Jews.  Thus he distinguishes himself, AND THUS DISTANCES HIMSELF,  from the Zionist/Ashkenazi/ Khazar “Talmudic Jews” that currently control Israel.   Until one understands the differences between these “two tribes” (real jews as opposed to the imposters who came from central Asia) you will never understand what is driving the State of Israel and the criminal organization that controls it.
The comments below are from a friend in Europe.  Sadly, the Europeans understand very well these distinctions.  Americans, on the other hand, are too preoccupied with the latest NFL game or other such  nonsense on the stuporvision.

Now to confuse the issue even further I have a you tube video of a group of Rabbis that traveled to Iran and presented an engraved silver chalice to Ahmadinejad. The engraving expressed their gratitude for the “love and kindness” that has been shown to the Torah Jews living in Iran over the years.I believe the video was
about 5 years ago. In this meeting there were about 10 Rabbis and I believe they were from N.Y. It was like a big love fest over there and was very heart warming. Also have you ever read Ahmadinejads open letter to the American people…it is very impressive. Now i tried to send this to a number of my fundy friends and they just were not ready for the truth…if I can find it I will try sending it again as things have changed considerably and they may be more receptive now. Thanks for your service to our country and for this piece.

Susan, Im sorry but this is extremely sloppy…

I saw this clip about a year ago.
This whole article and its premise is flawed.

Susan, it seems whoever told you that was mistaken. The video link you provide seems to be the same footage as one posted some five years ago.
Here is the one posted in 2007:

President Ahmadinejad Meets Neturei Karta Rabbis – 9/24/2007
(The day before his UN speech in 2007)
    6 minutes, 42 seconds

21 July ’07 is when the person who put up this video joined YouTube and put up their first video. This was the second. 114 videos posted. It seems all of them are about anti-Zionist orthodox rabbis.

This article seems to have been copied in lots of places now. I betcha few people have bothered with the year of it, even though it was correctly commented upon within a few hours of the first appearance. People just read, watch the video, maybe offer an opinion, sometimes copy it to their facebook page or whatever, and get attracted to the next shiny thing…

For me it is very important that you establish the correct date the above meeting took place.

“You are told” is not good enough, and thus your credibility is at risk. You face being accused of sloppy research. Something this site tries to expose.

I am an admirer of your whistle blowing efforts but this could bring into question just where you really stand?

  7. Susan Lindauer  September 30, 2012 at 7:57 am

I’m told the meeting occurred on Ahmedinajahd’s 2012 trip to New York– but the day before his speech, not the same day, as I originally thought. Still, the meeting occurred shortly before his speech. It’s entirely possible that other meetings occurred in 2007. After such a long time, with so much water on the bridge, it’s not unreasonable that Ahmedinajahd would be surprised that they support peace so eloquently.

I too had taken the article to mean the yom kippur that has just past. I also agree that the article could be misleading. It seems to have been quickly copied all over the web; search “The comments below are from a friend in Europe. Sadly, the Europeans” to see the many places it now resides. What are you trying to fix?

Robert, Are you familiar with the great poem, “Ode on a YouTube Video”? I speak of not only its well known final lines,

‘Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.’

but of the thought object addressed by the poem as a whole.

The secret of the whole game would be more easily approached were we not all fighting off this virus which has us capable only of knowing what our senses tell us. We are conditioned to believe we are animals, naturally selfish and evil. Of course humanity/mankind is more than that, and we at our better moments strive to attain to, or at least protect, “Creative discoveries which change the direction of mankind’s knowledge, [and which] never occur solely as the sum of various influences, in a deterministic way, but are spurred by an intention, a gripping passion [which] can make an absolutely unique contribution of potentially infinite consequence…”

And so I and others sense value in the video—the intentions of the participants, reflected by their actions, uplift us and remind us that a better world is possible.

That it is of a September 2007 meeting, and that fact is documented by its apparently having been posted on youtube at that time is of less import than the “desire for the good” which it arouses. And clearly, judging from comments dated to that time, did arouse.

Intention is a strong force. Who is to say whether the meeting affected President Ahmadinejahd even some five years after the event?

Just sayin’. Carry on with your intention. Truth matters to many of us.

  11. robert  September 30, 2012 at 12:03 am

    Susan Lindauer

    Truth matters to me.

Please confirm if this video clip is recent (2012), as you have stated above, or 2007 as some posters suggest? The current relevance of the video is totally changed, depending as to when the meeting between the rabbi’s and Ahmedinejahd occurred.

  12. Gary Walker  September 29, 2012 at 7:24 pm

Or, AR, the reason no “major news outlet aired this meeting” is because it is all controlled by Zionist
    hasbara tools.

    Gone fishin,

  13. Aine  September 29, 2012 at 6:10 pm

Who bought what…AR. This video is a great ‘visual’ for possibilities that we never see. That’s it. Speaking from the perspective of an American female, I wouldn’t want to belong to either one of these populations nor would I endorse any of their fundamentalist beliefs.

  14. DaveE  September 29, 2012 at 5:31 pm

Many if not most of us realize that the Neturei Karta is a small, as in VERY small group of Jews who still believe the Jews are chosen, superior, etc. but that THEY are the REAL Jews, hence the true “chosen ones.” But at least they seem to be against zionism and are willing to say so, at least more than any other group of Jews I know of. At least the NY branch also chooses not to live in Israel, so they have at least SOME legitimate claim to being anti-zionist, unlike the Jews who live in Israel but claim to be anti-zionist, pure liars, obviously.

IMHO they are deserving of our support, in as far as they are exposing the illegitimacy of Israel, the heart of the problem for all living things on this planet.

At this point, I’ll take what I can get. As twisted as the “religion” of Judaism is, the Neturei Karta are about as good as we can expect.

  15. AR  September 29, 2012 at 12:34 pm

Those Rabbis are from Neturei Karta. They are certainly not Israelis or Sephardic, they are Ashkenazi Jews and their leader who sits over there is Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss (not exactly a sephardic name). The person who posted this video is a liar and so are you Susan. The reason no major news outlet aired this meeting is because not one of them actually cares what this fringe group does or who it meets. But at least the “intellectual” readership at VT bought it hook line and sinker.

  16. Susan Lindauer  September 29, 2012 at 8:25 am

More and more of us have our eyes wide open. And it’s getting harder to silence us! The problem for our side is finding a vocabulary of peace to approach countries like Iran, which are getting badly injured and frustrated by other, louder hostile voices.

That’s particularly why I admired these Rabbis— They showed us all a way to address Iran, which holds to peace and recognizes the actual traditions of co-existence and harmonious relations that have existed for over 1,000 years at the community level— which we are aggressively erasing from the global consciousness at the mass media level. I think that’s really important.

  17. Gary Walker  September 29, 2012 at 7:48 am

I did not see the video, but I think that these rabbis are members of Neturei Karta (keepers of the gate). They claim that the creation of Israel before the messiach has returned is against the word of god. And of course the messiach has not returned. God’s word or not, they should be applauded for their stand for justice. Their web site is:

  18. Susan Lindauer  September 29, 2012 at 7:41 am

I was so amazed when I saw these Rabbis standing for the Greater purpose of God. There’s so much love of God and compassion and mercy evident in this Meeting. It’s so powerful. I truly hope this could be a definitive moment for Ahmedinejahd— if the rest of the world supports THIS message from the Rabbis.

Al of us in this world have got to change our vocabulary dealing with Iran. These Rabbis show us how to do that. And they are so eloquent— and effective. We can see that Ahmedinejahd was surprised and touched. The Rabbis’ words are extraordinary at this time of posturing and war-mongering.

Now it is for us to build on– If we can follow this sublime example of Godliness and peace.

  19. robert  September 29, 2012 at 2:10 am

I really like your considered post. I agree with the insight that it is very much their problem.

Whilst on the one hand I welcome any effort to bring peace to the world by supporting their self serving cause, giving them undue credit is not so good for humanity for the longer term.

Orthodox Jews live in the same vacuum as that which afflicts most overt religions. They do not work, only study the holy books and are supported by the state. They are a sea anchor to progress and science and have superstitions that are male dominated and chauvinistic to the extreme.

Just the same it is an important message to stop billions of dollars going to Israel by the likes of AIPAC to wage wars. The superstitions of the orthodox Jews, the Muslims and Christions can be addressed through peaceful education and evolution over time.

“Rabbi Daniel Lapin regarding the blessed nations, dispelling what Christians are commonly taught that there is no connection with the Arabs and the Jews. The prayer of Abraham and the promise of God was that nations would come from his offspring and that they would be blessed. Hence the two names where given by God, Ishmael was so named by God “That God would hear him” in other words one whose prayers are answered, and the son of Ishaq Jacob was given the name Israel “he will always make God his master”. These are two blessed nations. One lost grace because they denied the Prophet (Jesus) sent to them to confirm the truth of Torah after they had corrupted it and added to it Jeremiah 8:8
“‘How can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?
So God heard the prayer of the other (Ishmael) as foretold in Genesis. Genesis 49:10 The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from his descendants, until the coming of the one to whom it belongs, the one whom all nations will honor. The sceptre passed from Judah to the sons of Kedar!”

Hello Susan! Wishing all is well with you & yours.

Enjoyed this vid of special NYC meeting between Rabbis & President Ahmadinejahd. Appeared to be a warm & welcoming reunion. Heartening to watch, especially after what felt like wild ride on rollar-coaster over past several weeks. Thank you for bringing this video here to share with us.

I had just listened to you yesterday evening on Kevin Barretts special “Two-hour whistleblowers special with Gwenyth Todd and Susan Lindauer” from Sept. 18, 2012. Wow! Susan, you are on a roll!!! More! More!

If I may share link to Kevin’s show?
(scroll down on this page to, I believe, the 20th show)
Really enjoy your updates Susan. Please hang out more often when you can.

Hoping for updates from Gwenyth soon also.

    Warmest wishes dear friend.

  24. Susan Lindauer  September 28, 2012 at 6:31 pm

I’ve been up to mischief– You’ll hear all about it soon, I think! Might be an October Surprise… ooh, now I’m spilling the beans!!

  25. Aine  September 28, 2012 at 3:33 pm

This story/video really needs to go viral…putting it on Veterans Today should help. I’m hoping Micheal Rivero from ‘whatreallyhappens’ picks this up. He features a lot of daily stories about the Zionist tyranny: it would be great if he posted this video as an example of how real Jews behave. What a contrast.

  26. ricohands  September 28, 2012 at 2:56 pm

Yes these rabbis consider “Israel” blasphemy.

Israel’s memorial to Holocaust victims had been grafittied in early June . The suspects were three ultra Orthodox Jewish men, ages 18, 26 and 27, who live in “Israel” and confessed to the crime, according to police. Among the statements they painted in Hebrew at the memorial: “If Hitler had not existed, the Zionists would have invented him” and “Jews wake up — the Zionist regime is dangerous.”

  27. Susan Lindauer  September 28, 2012 at 2:56 pm

Right on, friend! Just remember— One man with courage makes a majority! And we’ve got each other & VT! What we’re doing now, challenging the Zionist side of Israel would have been impossible 10 years ago.

  28. anitaearle  September 28, 2012 at 2:53 pm

Hi Susan. I saw this video early this morning Australian time, on another web site, and was moved by the grace with which these rabbis and Mr A shared at this meeting. Could you please confirm for me what I thought I heard the rabbis say: that the Zionist state be dissolved.
I am unsure if it was me mishearing the translation, or what. But it sounded sweet to me.
I have been writing to friends since, on how Israel’s problems are like a bad marriage.
The Israelis really DO need to step back, psychologically speaking, to take an objective view of their choices and vested interests, in order to live in peace with each other and their neighbours.
As any two people who have left a bad marriage and survived, will know, once you let go of unrealistic, life-denying conditions and fear, things can improve!
Best wishes to you also, and for all that you have overcome; you are an inspiration. Thank you.

  29. DaveE  September 28, 2012 at 2:37 pm

Those Rabbis must feel like we 9/11 truthers feel. That is, greatly outnumbered. Still, there’s a certain pride they must feel being proven to be on the right side of justice, just like we truthers feel, being vindicated for all the CRAP we’ve endured trying to get people to listen to the truth. It’s been a long, hard fight. (And you, Susan, are in an entirely different league for what you’ve endured…..)

Personally, for their sake and ours, I hope we get some “help” sorting this all out. God will be a lot more fair and just than angry mobs in the streets.

  30. Susan Lindauer  September 28, 2012 at 2:21 pm

    Fixed it! Sorry!

  31. Chris D.  September 28, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Where is the video?.. I do not see the link..

  32. Excalibur  September 28, 2012 at 1:54 pm

The likes of the Rabbis here, the late and great Rabbi Israel Shahak, Gilad Atzmon and others – really do hold the key to world peace and the dismantling of the inherently evil ‘New Dark Age’ of the zionist world order.

These religious people know what it is to feel the backlash of the angry and alerted Gentiles when those same Gentiles have been exploited, murdered, reduced to slavery – and pushed too far by the eternal zionist monstrosity.

Whilst this development itself is very positive – I would suggest that it is still very much THEIR problem – and one which THEY the jewish people need to act on by exposing and very publicly accusing the zionist plotters for what they are. We need to see this happen now so that people know the difference.

These religious jews surely know that once again the zionist gangsters have pushed it too far, committed unforgivable crimes and that the very real threat of massive reprisal against jews and israel is gathering.

If their objective is peace then I hope they succeed.
