WHILE THE VA IS SHREDDING FILES AND VETS LIVE UNDER BRIDGES THE SENATE ACTS
VETERANS CAN NOW SALUTE THE FLAG

Introduced by Sen. James Injofe, R-Okla, listed by many respected veterans groups as one of the worst legislators in Washington but supported by “weenies” from every party, the bill allowing veterans to salute the flag has been hailed as a breakthrough in veterans legislation.
Congress has so much time on its hands worrying about burning flags, flag salutes and people trying to speak “Mexican” in our schools that destroying veterans lives thru systematic destruction of extremely vital disability applications and chronic underfunding of programs for wounded soldiers is forgotten. Salutes are “patriotic” and caring for our troops isn’t “sexy” enough for Congress.
As long as we are willing, as veterans, to betray our fellow vets, turn our back on our troops, all at the behest of a radio commentator, a phony reporter or a bribe sucking politician, we are as much the enemy as Bin Laden, who we now find backs McCain, believing, perhaps rightly so, that letting fools and thieves bankrupt America is ten times more effective than blowing up a few buildings. (expect a pre-election tape from Bin Laden)
While our legislators and too many confused veterans buy into the phony patriotism of those who laugh at America at their cocktail parties and country club lunches, our ability to defend our democracy and our actual freedom has been torpedoed by thieves turning “deregulation” into riches for them and suffering for tens of millions of Americans.
The political system in the US is and has been for some time, utterly corrupt. Get used to it. Putting your intelligence in a shoebox and burying it in your back yard is not a solution. If you think anyone in government cares if you live or die there is nothing I or anyone else can tell you. Darwin will catch up with you eventually.
As an American you have one duty, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, not as interpreted by Dick Cheney but Thomas Jefferson and George Washington.
Anyone who believes what he is fed deserves what he has gotten. We have watched our standard of living drop dramatically for 8 years while a very few amass incredible wealth. Go look for a job. Even Walmart is laying people off. You can’t even put your kids and grandkids in the basement when you are living in a tent shelter under a bridge with the Iraq and Afghanistan War veterans.
Isn’t it time that, perhaps, we began suspecting that there might just be a conspiracy involving a powerful elite to operate our government like a hand puppet? Check this weeks massive oil company profits in the middle of a recession. Economically impossible without criminal manipulation of the market, of course, but done with full consent and cooperation of our puppet government.
Anyone who hasn’t suspected that some powerful Americans work hand in hand with our enemies for profit lacks imagination. Ignoring the evidence and probability that such a relationship exists indicates a lack of discernment.
In a country where conspiracies are more common than good jobs, following a broken government into another decade of total failure is quite likely to hasten the total destruction of America.
Believing we can’t be destroyed, especially by our own worst enemy, ourselves, is ignoring the warnings of every American icon from Washington to Reagan.
