My name is Victor Trinidad and I am a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer who served his country for over 23 years. I currently work as a Systems\Network Administrator overseas. I strongly support the Occupy Wall Street Movement and I only wish I could be with them protesting in my home city of New York. Although I am not with them on the street, I have done my very best to spread the word about the movement by e-mailing my friends and family and encouraging them to join the movement.

During the organizing meeting of The Human Behavior and Evolution Society at the University of Michigan in 1988, I raised my hand after a presentation by Lida Cosmides, then the doyen of the movement, which had made a certain impression on me, and said, “I have only two concerns regarding your presentation”.

Libya’s tyrant Muammar Gaddafi is dead and buried but his pimps around the world don’t seem to have got the message yet.

With the actual Presidential election more than a year away, it is now the trial, error and silly season for the candidates. This is the time when candidates try floating new ideas and recycling old ones to see the reaction of the potential voters.
