The 1960’s produced some of the most memorable melodies of all time. This reflected my beautiful generation for better or worse. Countless hopes and dreams of ours have now faded into the deep sunset of reality. Our troubled minds have compeled us to block out virtually all realism it seems.
COME JOIN ME INTO THE JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME>>>>>> Music is the healing salvation for each and every veteran. It doesn’t matter if you were in some dirty fox hole five thousand miles away or casually walking along a Navy tarmac stuck on the shores of North Florida. Music sealed our precious memories for all time whatever the situation brought before us.
I yearn to have the 1960’s back once again. It was a fantastic time when my generation produced the unthinkable. Words—music—and—film—left an indelible mark on each of us.
The creativity produced in today’s world is no match for the 1960’s. All one has to do is compare the different era’s and there’s no reltionship between the two. At least in those days one could understand the words and groove to the beautiful melodies brought before us. Jim Morrison (The Doors), The Temptations, The Beetles, Shawn Phillips, Jimmy and Janis, Pink Floyd, Country Joe and the Fish, Moody Blues, The Supremes, and on and on it goes…
Much of today’s music fails to express the real creativity that we so richly desire. There’s flashes of inspiration every now and then but they fall way short of the 1950’s—1960’s—and even into the 1970’s and early 1980’s.
ONE OF THE GREATEST BLUES SINGERS OF ALL TIME!
Why is it most of the music produced today doesn’t compare to those earlier generations? Look at the above video by the late John Todd.
We see music did begin to have a degenerative quality in the 1950’s. But, it became more pronounced as time passed by and today it’s utterly insane. Now you might be asking yourself! What does this have to do with you? Music of the past can take our minds off the extreme pain we’re feeling in today’s broken economy.
Today, most Americans feel powerless to stop the RUNAWAY CORRUPTION within BUSINESS and GOVERNMENT. Our country is like a runaway financial freight train headed for a devastating crash.
It’s really not so much about the players at hand. It’s more about the corrupt policies they institute in our behalf. As I’ve so often stated: "There’s an unseen hand directing all these players for the eventual goal of bringing in a ONE WORLD ORDER.
A few nights ago Megyn Kelly a Fox News anchor made a bone headed statement. She declared in a stupified fashion that our American government wasn’t bring in a One World Government. Hum…I suppose airhead Kelly didn’t read the quotes by famous people announcing a One World Order to come at: http://www.webpal.org/a_reconstruction/nwo/quotes.htm
Rest assure! No matter which news agency you’re watching. None of them will give you the full and complete truth. I remember several months ago some news anchors were asked about the Bohemian Gove and all of them made a big joke about it. Now stories of the Grove are all over the news. You can read my article on it at: https://www.veteranstoday.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=4937
RELAX! Take an eaasy chair and pop in a CD of the Doors or the Moody Blues. I highly recommend Kitaro. You might remember the movie called Heaven and Earth. Kitaro produced the sound track for that movie. Butter yet go into a quiet room and say a little prayer to the Lord. These are good ways to relieve the tremendous stress before you and your family.
