Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Revealed to have Jewish Past

How crazy can the world possibly be?  Crazier than even I thought.  And we veterans thought that we had the market on dysfunctional lifestyles?  Hardly.  The world is truly insane.

Iran’s mercurial anti-Semitic President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had a family secret revealed today in Great Britain by the Daily Telegraph.  He is by birth a Jew.

It defies logic and reason and common sense.  The Jew baiting, anti-Semitic, holocaust denying, Israel threatening former Revolutionary Guard militia member was born a Jew in a Jewish family named Sabourjian, a well known Jewish family name in Iran.  Roughly speaking it translates as weaver of cloth.

Here is a quote from the article: "Mr Ahmadinejad has been consistently outspoken about the Nazi attempt to wipe out the Jewish race. "They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets," he declared at a conference on the holocaust staged in Tehran in 2006."

The article is here.  This bears some serious reflection for veterans because it speaks to the very heart of organized violence, i.e. wars, in the name of national interests.  In short, there is no such thing. 

Now what the heck does this have to do with veterans? 

Well, veterans, by definition are men and women who have served in the armed forces, many of whom have seen combat.  They were sent into the Service and eventually combat because national leaders convinced the population that the national interests of their country would best be served by war.

These incredibly influential people at the top of the political spectrum use all their powers, both personal and political, to get the wars started to "even up the score" with a supposed enemy of their country. 

How many times have wars been started by psychotics like this man Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because their own psyches were so bent that they were filled with self hate and dragged along their country into their personal hell?  Lets walk awhile in that land and look deeply at this.  Self hatred for one individual can drag the world into war and we must look clearly at this.  We are that point again in human history.

We need to do this.  We are on the verge of punishing Iran violently for nuclear arms deception that has been almost single handedly constructed by this sociopath who is ashamed of his own heritage to the point of attempting to start a war with Israel at every turn. 

This is a lot more important than it looks and this is not the first time something like this has been the linchpin in a major conflict.

Adolf Hitler had been questioned in the press about possible Jewish roots for his family for well over a decade.  It appears that the questioning was at the behest of his political enemies and Hitler was almost certainly not connected to a Jewish background.  However, this is significant in singling out the Jews for persecution under the Nazis later on.  Hitler had personally felt the sting of anti-Semitism in Austria and Germany at the hands of enemies and he would make the Jews of Europe pay for it. 

Six million Jews died in concentration camps along with five million other non-Jews.  Estimates of total number of dead as a result of World War II range from 50 million people to 70 million people.  Wounded and displaced and mentally disturbed people as a result of the war is incalculable and could range in the hundreds of millions.

There were several false theories about Hitler’s Jewish roots that were extant in Austria, Poland and Germany prior to and into the beginning of World War II. Because Maria Anna Schicklgruber  who was the mother of Alois Hitler and Adolf’s father was a single mother with a bastard child the rumors were easy to generate. Hitler’s grandfather’s identity is still unknown.

During the 1920s and 1930s, the opposition press in Germany published several rumours that Hitler was Jewish claiming that he came form a Jewish family named Hitler from Bucharest.  These articles even claimed that Alois Hitler, Adolf’s father, was son of baron Rothschild because Maria Anna had supposedly worked as maid at his house. 

This was not true but it caused large political problems for awhile for Hitler among the National Socialists, the Nazis.  He never fully recovered from his political scarring by enemies in post World War I Germany relative to having to defend himself against these enemies by constantly denying that he was Jewish.  He remained paranoic about this the rest of his life and often had men killed outright within the National Socialist Party if he decided that they were enemies or even potential enemies of his political ambitions.

Every one in the Western world past the age of twelve recognizes the name Hitler as the consumate anti-Semitic personality of the 20th century.  Is Ahmadinejad his succesor in the 21st century?  Will we allow ourselves to be dragged into worldwide conflict because yet one other human being feels the sting of anti-Semitism in his personal life and wants to overcompensate by killing Jews?

Will we? 

Veterans in this country know very well that war brings devestation to human lives like nothing else can.  If worldwide conflicts can be started based on the psychotic fears of individuals who feel slighted and turn on the world by inflicting wars on all of us for no other reason than self hatred’s rage played out over the world stage, what can we do to stop it?

We can refuse to play along. 

We can insist on transparency from everyone involved before we jump into any type of support for the next conflict.

We can say ‘no’ to war unless we can see clear, unequivocal and reasonable reasons why war is the only option left to us prior to our own self destruction.

We can see the psychotics on all sides for who they really are. And we can refuse to cooperate with them.
