Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program Technical Assistance Conference, Aug. 9-12

The U.S. Department of Labor-Veterans’ Employment and Training Service annual Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) Technical Assistance Conference will be held August 9-12 at the Holiday Inn on The Hill, 415 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C.

The conference, “Achieving Success as an HVRP Grantee,” will provide training and post-award information for grantees in their second year funding cycle, as well as for organizations receiving grants that were awarded July 1. In an effort to build grantee capacity, a discussion will focus…

on “best practices.” Other sessions will cover reporting requirements, linkages to community partners and government agencies, and resource development.

It is anticipated that all grantees will have at least two representatives at the conference. The program will also be attended by grant officer representatives and regional and national DOL-VETS staff.

Conference attendees who have not already registered need to register online at www.namsinc.org/hvrp as soon as possible. For information, call Kristine McLaughlin, HVRP Program Lead, at 202-693-4756.
