A Request from a Warrior

Dear Friends and Warriors,

I have a favor I wanted to ask, could you please forward this to someone from your respective base wide distribution centers as well as distributing at the next drill and wherever true Americans wish to support their Defenders of Freedom.

I wanted to see if the Military community would like to help casualties in Iraq.

I visit the hospital once every other week. I sit with young Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Civilians to listen to their stories. Some of the stories are unbelievable! ………….

The sacrifice they make and their motivation captures what true heroes are made of as well as breaking your heart to see what they have endured to secure our freedoms.

The turnaround time here at the Hospital is fairly quick for most. Once the casualty is stabilized they are sent to Germany or the States. Others are held there for recovery and are without basic clothing items. Obviously, these young Warriors do not bring their belongings to the hospital with them and most times their uniforms are disposed of.

The Hospital needs clothing for them, desperately, especially underwear, t-shirts, pajama bottoms and tops, sweat pants and shirts and shower shoes. I am calling out to some of my former Devil Dogs in their current posts, My Guard MP Warriors, who have recently felt the peril’s which a tour here in Iraq can bring, and the rest of you who are my friends and relatives to step up and help those with the most basic of needs, for they defend our countries doors with their lives.

If anyone would like to help they can combine everything and send to me via APO AE at this address below.

If you’re name is on this list you’ve touched my life in one way or another and I know you will come together to assist me in this plight.
