Filmmaker seeks Iwo Jima vets


A Colorado filmmaker who has interviewed almost 100 World War II veterans for two documentaries is looking for veterans who fought in the battle on the South Pacific island of Iwo Jima.


Larry Cappetto’s   first two volumes covered the battles on Omaha Beach during the D-Day invasion that led to thesurrender of Nazi Germany. He is now filming Volume III covering Iwo Jima, which will be released   this summer. He will be in Salt Lake City Dec. 28-30.
