Donate Unused Frequent Flier Miles To Good Cause

Many people earn frequent flyer miles that they know will never add up to a free flight, but Ruth to the Rescue has a way to put those miles to good use.

Donating miles to Operation Hero Miles allows families to visit wounded soldiers while they recover in military hospitals.

Also, the American Red Cross accepts donated miles to help workers reach needy people. The Make-A-Wish Foundation also accepts miles to help make travel wishes come true.

Most charities set a minimum donation of 5,000 miles.
