Where do wannabe’s go?

Dear Editor,

I had always wondered where the guys that did not make it go to. If a guy had a dream to join the marines, but could not make it, or the guys that dropped out of some sort of military training because of the physical stuff – where do they gather?

How do they then recreate their shattered dreams?

Is there a forum or a BB for those?

Dear Petrus,

Most folks who don’t cut the mustard either go onto something else or come back and try again once their issue has been cleared up.

However, in the near future, that could change.  Charles Pena, director of Defense Policy Studies at the Cato Institute, a conservative Washington-based think tank, says the federal government is likely to require compulsory national service….

According to Pena, under national compulsory service, no one would be exempt. People could join the military or perform some other form of community service.

So keep dreaming!

If you want to seek out other people who have been in that situation, you can post on our Forum.
