Free IT training available for veterans

Veterans, what would you say if you knew you could get free Information Technology training that would enable you to have a lucrative career in one of the fastest expanding employment sectors today?

Victor Jory with CompTEC Computer Career Center says, “Most veterans approach us with a ‘this is too good to be true’ attitude, but it really is true. There are no hidden costs or “add-on” fees. Candidates do have to pre pay 60% of the published tuition, which is fully reimbursed by the VA, and we grant them the remaining 40%. Boot Camp training programs actually include hotel and a food allowance! It really is a great deal and we are proud to be able to offer this to America’s Veterans.”

In an effort to get the word out to all eligible veterans that their MGIB (Montgomery GI Bill) and CompTEC “Top-up/gap” GRANT Pays 100% Tuition the PC Training Institute, Inc. began publishing information for veterans on…

www.GIBillTraining.com about six months ago. Traffic to that website has increased dramatically in the last month, as hundreds have visited and dozens of veterans have signed up to attend one of the many information technology certification training programs offered.  Most major internet search engines already rank this site in the top ten for keywords like MGIB MCSE.

This program has earned the interest of State and Federal Veterans Administration officials who have advised their staff to notify veterans counselors.

In co-operation with the Treasure Coast Workforce Alliance office GIBilltraining.com will soon offer classes in a second location. Mr. Hatch announced that GIBillTraining.com will offer this program anywhere there is a group of ten veterans who can attend on the same schedule.

Steven Hatch, President and CEO of PC Training Institute, Inc. confirmed today that all MGIB Eligible veterans Chapter 30, 31, 35 and 1607 can benefit from the Training benefits and 100% top up/ gap grant eligible programs (see below). Mr. Hatch’s message to eligible veterans who are interested in Information Technology career paths is simple: Go to school now you pay nothing!

This program applies to Regular Enlistment Chapter 30, 31 and 35 Veterans that have been separated for less than ten years from regular enlistment and who opted in to the MGIB benefits. These individuals are immediately eligible for fully funded tuitions for MCSE (network engineers), MCDBA( database professionals), MCSD.NET (programmers), CCNA, CCNP (Cisco network administrators and engineers) and other high demand high paying career skills.

Reserve and National Guard Chapter 1607

Additionally, National Guard and Reservists who have been called up for active duty in recent conflicts have been awarded full and partial MGIB benefits by Act of Congress. Entitlements come from Chapter 1607. These veterans are also eligible for up to full y funded tuitions.

TRAIN IN AS LITTLE AS TWO WEEKS

Veterans who are already Information technology pros can update their skills in Boot Camp style training programs.

Veterans who wish to transition to an information technology career path, and who have the ability to live in the West Palm Beach area for approximately three months, can attend regular  non-boot camp classes to earn their certification and improve their career paths.

Mr. Hatch further advised that even candidates that have full time employment can attend, as CompTEC offers morning, afternoon and evening schedules. The program applies to regular track classes and accelerated boot camp style training. New classes enroll every month.

GIBillTraining.com representatives will help veterans through every step of the process, from application to graduation! No need to worry about fumbling through an awkward bureaucracy CompTEC knows the way!

The program has been tested for over a year with veterans attending from as far away as Okinawa. “We have a decade long history with a variety of local and national employers and we are very proactive in helping our candidates find the right fit. Earlier this month we helped one of our veterans land a great job that resulted in a salary increase of over $20,000.00,” Mr.Hatch said.
