Casting Directors For Fast and Furious 3 and Jarhead announce Open Casting Call in San Diego, CA and Yuma, AZ For Military Documentary

Los Angeles, CA-DeeDee Ricketts and Headquarters Casting (Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift, Jarhead, Three Kings, Lords of Dogtown) will hold an Open Casting Call for the new Untitled Nick Broomfield documentary film that chronicles the lives of Marines in Iraq.

We are searching for REAL U.S. Military males (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard) ages 17-30, who have recently served in Iraq. If cast, all positions will be paid (plus living and travel expenses). Applicants must have flexible schedules and open availability for filming which is scheduled between late January and March 2007. Filming location TBD.

San Diego Open Call will be held:
Sat. December 2, 11a.m.-4 p.m.
Holiday Inn, Meeting/Event Room

Yuma Open Call will be held:
Sun., December 3, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Marriott Spring Hill Suites, Meeting Room
1825 E. 18th Street
Yuma, Arizona 85365

Applicants attending the Open Call should prepare to discuss:

  • -What your motivating factor was for joining the military?
  • -Why you selected your particular branch over the others?
  • -Did you see combat during your service?
  • -Is there a particular experience during your service that sticks out in your mind?

Los Angeles-based Casting Directors DeeDee Ricketts and Carla Lewis of Headquarters Casting recently completed work on the feature film The Great Buck Howard, starring John Malkovich and the ABC series, Big Day which premieres November 28, 2006.
