NEEDED: A WWII British Veteran Who Knows About “Short Snorter” Clubs

Lion Television, an independent production company in the United States, is currently researching stories for the fifth season of PBS’s History Detectives.

History Detectives is a prime-time series about the discovery, documentation and preservation of historic American buildings and artifacts. Our program revolves around the investigation of questions posed by individuals interested in learning the history behind artifacts and their possible historical implications.

Lion Television is looking to interview a British veteran of World War II who was involved in a “short snorter” club for our program. Ideally they are looking for someone who fought in the war before and after the United States entered the battle.

These clubs were popular with WWII pilots.

If you or someone you know is a British World War II veteran please contact April ASAP at [email protected] or call her at (212) 206-8633 ext. 3859
