Air Purification Specialists, Inc. (APSI) was founded in 1990 to meet the growing need for qualified providers of Indoor Environmental Quality Consulting and Remediation services. Recent years have introduced a heightened awareness of indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and its associated problems and health concerns. APSI has successfully answered this call by offering a vast field of experience and technical support. Because problems associated with IEQ are usually complex and not easily solved, the firm advocates a multi-disciplinary approach to achieve our clients’ goals. APSI has developed a network of some of the most respected firms and professionals within the industry. The combination of our expertise with that of our numerous industry partners allows us to meet the unique challenges of any specific indoor environmental quality or HVAC hygiene need encountered.

APSI is a small, women-owned business firm comprised of 10 full time employees. Staffing includes a Certified Microbial Consultant, two Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisors, an Office Manager, Administrative Manager and seven Microbial Remediation Technicians. These Technicians are also trained in proper sheet metal handling applications and installation. The firm’s Principal Field Investigator holds a Conditioned Air Contracting license in the state of Georgia and a Mechanical Contractor’s license in the state of Florida. The Field Supervisors have a total of 15 years experience in a supervisory capacity.

Prospective APSI employees are subjected to a strenuous interviewing process which includes drug screening, criminal background checks, medical examinations and Department of Motor Vehicle reports. All APSI employees participate in the firm’s “Drug-free Workplace Program.”
Each member of the APSI Team responsible for actual fieldwork has logged a minimum of over 2000 hours under the microbial abatement containment conditions.

APSI has provided cost effective, long-term solutions to indoor environmental problems for over a decade for federal and state agencies, health care facilities, educational institutions and Fortune 500 companies.
