Internet Spreading False Rumors About Bill HR 2640

House Bill HR2640 which is being idiotically misrepresented across the internet by right wing extremists as a bill that would allow the government to disarm PTSD vets, dog owners, drug users, learning disabled children and anyone critical of the government is actually supported by the NRA and does none of these things. 

Everything said on the internet about this bill is utterly false.  Why would "neo-Nut" extremists, now worrying about the sky falling and running to the valium shelf to survive the Al Gore Nobel Prize do everything possible to keep veterans needing medical care from getting it by making up lies about veterans losing their gun rights.

This entire circus is nothing but a panic driven scam meant to get veterans, a group that the right always assumes is willing to believe anything, to run in circles howling and screaming but mostly….

THIS IS MEANT TO KEEP VETS FROM GETTING EXPENSIVE HEALTHCARE AND DISABILITY COMPENSATION.

It appears that democrats have put forth a bill that will allow some who have had guns taken away to get them back.  Some republicans are misrepresenting this bill as a way of keeping veterans away from expensive medical care and burdonsome disability payments, something republicans have been working at for some time.

The most important thing to say, right here, up front, is that nobody can lose their weapons or gun rights unless they are legally found "incapable of handling their own affairs". 

They way things are now, if you are ever found "incapable", you may never get your gun rights back.  This bill would change that.

The real victims of this, of course, are veterans and the real enemy is the Neocon posse of totalitarian crazies who will tell any lie imaginable to raise money, scare people to death or get Americans to vote away their freedoms.  And, since we are living in a country where "patriots" elected a government that the vast majority of us simply wish would "disappear into the night" which, it turns out, has taken away our freedoms, the remaining crazies are running the equivalent of a Nigerian Scam on the internet talking about gun control.

It is the duty of every veteran, every gun owner and every NRA member to get the word out and stop this attack on our troops.  Those passing on these fraudulent stories about HR2640 need to be shown up as the limp wristed vet hating scum they are.

Whatever reason the right has for trying to keep vets from filing disability claims and seeking medical treatment, I can only imagine.  However, THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION HAS A LONG HISTORY OF WORKING TO KEEP VETERANS FROM GETTING HEALTHCARE AND DISABILITY BENEFITS.  I WOULD HATE TO THINK THAT THIS FRAUD MAY HAVE TIES TO SUPPORTERS OF THE PRESIDENT BUT, AS EACH "SCAM LETTER" ALSO CONTAINS ATTACKS ON THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, PERHAPS WE MAY HAVE CAUGHT SOMEONE WITH THEIR ZIPPER HALF UP OR HALF DOWN.
