A message from Paralyzed Veterans of America:
As we take a moment to remember the service of our American military guardsmen, those who have fought for our sake towards national and international security, we are reminded that in the defense of freedom there is always sacrifice. For those both living and dead for whom freedom has always been worth fighting for, we give thanks for serving all of our freedom's cause.
This Veterans Day, on November 11th, the Paralyzed Veterans of America (pva.org) will continue to give thanks to the many men and women who have served in our nation’s military and it will work to maximize the quality of life for all its members with spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D) and all other people with disabilities.
Paralyzed Veterans is a leading advocate for quality health care for its members, fights for veteran’s benefits, promotes research and education to find a cure for spinal cord Injury and disease, presents solutions for accessibility and the removal of architectural barriers, promotes adaptive sports and recreation programs, and works to safeguard the rights of all people with disabilities…
Paralyzed Veterans, a nonprofit organization, is the only congressionally chartered veterans organization dedicated solely to serving the needs of veterans with spinal cord injury or disease.
