How can the President of the U.S. be so naïve to think of making his proposed tax relief permanent? Bush has raised the national debt so high that many future generations are going to be paying. The U.S. is in deep financial trouble because the selfish pad their own pockets.

How can any elected official in their right mind vote to approve the President’s tax relief plan. Bill Clinton once had a plan to stop our over spending and to pay our national debt off by 2010. The Republican party used religion and blow jobs to elect the worst president the U.S. has ever had. The damage to the economy, military, public relations (other countries view of the U.S.) is probably irrepairable.

In the History of the U.S. we have never invaded another country to impose our beliefs, until Bush. We the voters of the U.S. are responsible because we voted for this president because of the fine job that his father did as President…

The people of the U.S. must come first. We give money to foreign nations and let U.S. citizens live below poverty. Maybe to make the world better our leaders should think about rebuilding our nation first. Maybe to make other nations stronger we should lead by building our own economy first.

Once the leading nation in the world of jobs and products we now depend on countries that we give our tax dollars as relief. Sending our children off to foreign soil to die for a President’s legacy at our own expense just does not make sense. We give our children’s lives and billions of our own tax dollars to interfere in a religious conflict of people that do not want us. To make the people of the U.S. aware that we invaded their country, terrorists assault us on our own soil.

We give higher education to children of other countries while leaving our children to beg. Should not our leaders think of the people of the U.S. first? These now educated foreign children become adults that inflict pain and suffering on U.S. citizens. We the people of the U.S. become second to the people that our leaders use to build their legacy.

Our children come home from fighting on foreign soil as Veterans in need of help. These children were exposed to and lived through situations that you that have never been there can conceive. Our elected officials publicly praise these Veterans and in secret meetings vote against helping them.

Money (tax dollars) is wasted on the elected officials pet projects leaving the Veterans disabled and homeless on the street. Our leaders will help foreign countries and their people but allow Veterans to be discriminated against by the people they kept safe. Veterans can’t afford to donate to the public officials pockets as do foreign counties. Why should these elected officials care about veterans?! We are now a leach on the budget and their pet projects.

Is there some way to change the destructive cycle? Maybe change is the only way to bring the U.S. back to “We the People.” Maybe it is time to abolish the political parties and have the popular vote of the people to decide our leaders. May be one naïve President in our history this nation can survive, but we as a nation are in deep trouble because of the past eight years.
