BY. G. DUFF

Backed up by intelligence provided by briefings from Internet bloggers with no military or intelligence background other than backing the earlier WMD fiasco and a few dozen paid informants who have been told to bring back stories of Iranian nuke development even if they have to invent it (same as last time), President Bush is planning a nuclear attack on Iran.

Ok, this is a joke, isn’t it?  First of all, it would require congressional approval, which he doesn’t have and will never get again under any circumstances.  He doesn’t seem to care.  He is already putting forces in place for the attack over the recommedation of the Army, Marine Corps and finally, with the resignation of Admiral Fallon last week, the Navy.

So, Bushieboy and the Air Farce plan to start World War III on their own, illegally, based on lies.   The plan is to  bring on the apocalypse that the "big haired preachers" who haunt the executive chambers with their snake handling and speaking in tongues can have our leaders bought to the side of Jesus, naked and innocent as the first day they made a big cocaine buy.  They call it "RAPTURE".  I call it psychosis…

The "moronic duo," McCain and Cheney are in Iraq, basking in the occasional bombing and taking advantage of the lull in action while forces save up their ammunition and supplies for the day the US leaves Iraq with its tail between its legs same as with Vietnam.  Try driving past one of the huge weapons storage depots and pull out that digital camera.  Even top government VIP’s will push you down in the seat.

What is actually going on there is something else.  The Kurds are establishing a pro-US democracy in the north of the country and encroaching on the huge Kirkuk oil fields that were handed to the Sunni’s by Saddam.  I visited there recently searching for Iranian spies.  They are probably there by the hundreds, mind you, but none of them agreed to have their picture taken with me and the "throat slitting" Kurds riding along.

There is little for Iran to worry about.  Their Shiite allies have all but totally taken over Baghdad and have plans for taking over key Sunni areas and getting a civil war going between Kurds and Sunni’s.  This would give them virtual control over Iraq within a few months of the US leaving.

At least this time, we won’t have the embarassment of having to leave our embassy in helicopters while allies storm the gates to get out of the country to avoid years in re-education camps as with Vietnam.

Last time we walked away from Iraq, 200,000 of our Kurdish allies were murdered with poison gas right under our noses.  We let it happen because it made the Turks happy.  They fear the Kurds as do the Iranians.  Much of Turkey, Iraq, Iran and even Syria is land that should actually be Kurdistan.  When countries were divided up by people who had never been there, we made a mistake or two.  Our century is now paying for those mistakes.

Now we have a president who has a secret plan to invade Iran or at least blow up their nuclear facilities, although the National Intelligence Estimate says there is no weapons program and the majority of our military think the idea is not just crazy but plain impossible.

The other idea, that thousands of Russian nuclear weapons could kill most of the people in the US because of this insanity doesn’t seem to both Bush and Cheney anything of note.  They want the world to go up in smoke before grand juries start indicting their entire administration for bilking the treasury for 7 years, starting an illegal war destroying our military and economic viability.

Even NRA, American Legion anti-abortion zombie loving whacko’s won’t support people who have their jobs taken away and their homes reposessed, at least many of them won’t.

We still have time for a war.  We have ships, planes and nuclear weapons.  We can still bribe a few of our millions of unemployed to join our military as long as they haven’t read about how our military and VA hospitals are run.  According to Pentagon numbers, most recruits join with physical and mental problems to begin with and wounding them is actually an improvement.  Cuts down those nasty pensions.  We even had one veteran show up for a pension hearing with his arm blown off and the army claimed he joined that way and they sent him to Iraq.

No, I am not kidding.
