Hagel Hosts Congressional Breakfast for Teach Vietnam Network Members

Teachers from around the country will visit the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, July 17, to meet with their congressional representatives as part of the Teach Vietnam Teachers Network National Conference. The breakfast is taking place in the Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building (room 325) and will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) is hosting the event and will offer remarks.

Also speaking is Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.). Hagel is a Vietnam veteran, and Reed is a West Point graduate and former Army Ranger. Jan C.
Scruggs, founder and president of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, will serve as master of ceremonies.
