A David and Goliath Encounter

One of the major themes of Patriots Revolt is bringing political leadership of America in line with one nation Under God, our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, Federalist Papers and other Founding Father principles.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans have had some interaction with Patriots Revolt web site in just three or so weeks…there is an intense hunger, cry, plea for a vehicle that will give America another option, a meaningful voice as opposed to the unacceptable two party system and their current presidential candidates.

Patriots Revolt is pleased and prayerfully grateful to announce support to Dr. Alan Keyes for President of the United States in the November 2008 election, and "America’s Independent Party" as the hope of long term grass roots restoration of conservative principled America.

There has been ample time for both presidential candidates of the Republican and Democrat Party to declare their fundamental positions vis-a-vis America’s basic Constitutional principles. They remain in opposition to our founding documents and appear to be veering farther a-field on a near daily basis. We abandon both candidates based on their announced positions which is contrary to responsibility required under the Constitution of the United States.

Dr. Alan Keyes, a family man, demonstrated patriot, constitutionalist, believer in "one nation under God", defender of our Founding Fathers principles, along with "America’s Independent Party" is a solid and refreshing antidote to the two corrupt major political parties. We have a man and conservative movement of integrity, character, who puts God, our Constitution, and America before anything else…….we have a real choice for America…not a wasted vote on McCain or Obama….

If the ugly political apparatus is true to form, there will be attacks on Alan Keyes, false information planted, distortions of his record and the like. Alan has worked tirelessly for decades, no one has worked harder, to bring God and Constitutional principle back into American political process…the establishment does not like his message so he is a lightening rod for attack. Before accepting or communicating rumors, negative attacks, please be responsible and confirm or deny the information.

The positions of those who view Patriots Revolt direction as helping or hindering one of the major candidates or hindering the other has been heard. We respectfully reject the theory but respect their opinion. As Dr. Keyes puts it, "If people are obliged to support one person who doesn’t represent them in order to stop another who also doesn’t represent them, they end up with a government that doesn’t represent them." Is Patriots Revolt approach perfect, not likely…Is Alan Keyes perfect, not likely…no one acknowledges perfection but for sure we’re not supporting the betraying two party political apparatus any longer.

Does this mean democrats, republicans that place America first not party, and demonstrate their unequivocal commitment to Constitutional principles, should be denied a vote…of course not…for the most part it’s the apparatus that is deceiving and betraying America. We would hope more of those in the major two parties would step out as "independents" and trust the people, not the party.

The only way to stop the criminal political rape of America is for Americans to stand up for our Constitutional Republic, reject the current candidates of the two major parties. We have failed to follow the Founding Fathers model in the past for leader selection, but it’s not too late…it can be reversed in November 2008.

Alan Keyes will be on the ballot or can be voted as a write-in candidate in more than 40 States. There is no doubt…if the overwhelming number of Americans who have been without a voice, abandoned by the existing political system, will vote their conscience,vote principle, Alan Keyes will garner a plurality of votes and could conceivably be elected President of the United States.

A massive vote for Alan Keyes now will not only have the potential of electing him president, but set the stage for America’s Independent Party to work toward a dramatic conservative victory in 2010.

We will fight the good fight and run the race to the end…America as our Founding Fathers envisioned hangs in the balance. God grant us courage and vision that principle demands.
