PARTY GIRL CANDIDATE BRINGS NEW LIFE TO THE KLAN MOVEMENT
BIG OIL SMILES AND PICKS UP THE TAB

Across America, Obama/Biden signs are being defaced with Klan graffiti by the hundreds, perhaps thousands. "KKK", hooded figures or nooses now decorate our roadways. US23 near Ann Arbor, I notice, has a new one. It is an interesting sight while driving to the VA hospital. Nearly every state is seeing the same thing, a renewed alignment of Republicans with the Klan, a movement started after "Dixiecrats" turned Republican in the late 60s.
Alaska is Klan territory. Backward, violent, drunk and drugged out of their minds, this is the Alaska Palin represents, a state of meth labs, welfare checks, washing machines dumped along the roads. Her people there and now down here are the angry, the ignorant and the lazy. You know them, they are all rapists, wife beaters, shiftless jerks who spend their off hours torturing animals and shooting holes in oil pipelines.
Nice generalization? Welcome to the new world of election year racism.
The current bailouts sending hundreds of billions of tax dollars into private corporations owned by millionaires is a scam. These companies are broke because the money that went in, went right back out into the pockets of the rich who then cooked the books, "Enron style." Phony profits have gone thru the roof while the public now has to pay the bill, sinking America into decades of cutbacks, tax increases, higher interest rates or more and more borrowing from our Russian buddies. Who do you think let this happen? Guess.
Really footing the bill for this party is the American worker whose wages have gone down for 7 years while prices have gone thru the roof. If you wondered where the money has gone, ask America’s rich, if you can. Ask your people to call their people. Wait, you are telling me that you don’t have "people?" Perhaps your publicist can make the call. No publicist? You are an American, aren’t you?
Big oil is financing a carnivial campaign with "Klan Barbie" and "Nutcase McCain" giving the secret hand signals to hillbillies around the country while oil prices plunge but gasoline prices rise and nobody says a word. OPEC is fighting to keep a world drowning in excess oil from plunging poor Iran into such poverty they will have to cut back their nuclear programs while we are fighting over offshore drilling to find oil no refinery needs nor tank could store. We are going to have to start dumping oil back into the ground or building even bigger cars. Thanks to Bush, more Americans can enjoy the pleasure of driving. With no job, you can cruise and shop all day long. No worries mate!
When asked last week how the economy was doing, McCain answered "great." Great is the right answer if you love disaster movies. For years he thought veterans were doing great when he backed funding cutbacks and voted against the GI Bill. McCain continually voted to end government regulation of the financial markets. It was a keystone of his philosophy, leave Wall Street alone and they will build America. Then the financial markets collapsed with 3 of 5 investment banks in the US gone and the other 2 going. "No bankie, no workie."
Now McCain is the "great reformer", flip-flopping on everything he has spent his life screwing up. Maybe the old saying is right, you can only learn from mistakes. By that standard, McCain and Bush are both geniuses.
Driving past signs defaced by KKK graffiti is disturbing. Only a few people were involved in this childish act. However, that this is going on all over the country and blogs are filling with Palin lovers who not only approve, but accept this as a license to let their unAmerican mouths (and little tiny fingers) show exactly how twisted their minds are, shows the nasty dark side of America we like to pretend isn’t there.
America may be divided more than ever with our "church goers" and "meth dealers" lining up against "elitists", those being people who receive regular dental care. Getting up on Saturday morning to go to Walmart (I actually go to Sam’s Club) I look around me and try to understand what people must be thinking. Maybe I got dropped out of helicopters too many times and my brain doesn’t work. I don’t understand any of it. Everyone has to know the whole thing is a con.
I travel alot and try to spend as much time as possible staying away from the "airport/hotel lobby world" that keeps people from understanding each other. How do you tell religious Americans that their values and the values of most devout Muslims (not extremists) are nearly identical? I am trying to help a friend in Germany find a job in a steel plant near their home, a plant owned by Arabs I know. How often do Americans think that Germans go thru exactly what we do?
I have another friend in Paris that can’t find an apartment and works a series of part time jobs to make ends meet. My daughter-in-law’s family from Hungary visited last year. The visit cost 2 years wages. I can’t help but think many Americans are exactly like these people. This is certainly how I grew up. I think that America must still be there.
When these people, Europe, Asia or the Middle East, hear American’s fighting over who created the dinosaurs while everything is tumbling down around them, they begin to suspect we are nuts over here. It seems some of us are nuts here, I just don’t know how many. Anyone who can buy gas and not look toward the White House and extend that middle finger salute is running on fewer cylinders than their pickup.
