Once and for all people, politicians are politicians.  Obama voted for War Funding because it WAS NOT JUST WAR FUNDING!!!  Everything the American people got, from SCHIP, to increase in Minimum Wage, cost of living increases, to increases in VA benefits for our troops coming home…

…it all had to be tied to WAR FUNDING, or the Republicans were going to filibuster and kill it all.
 
All the REPUBLICANS want is their G~d Damned war in Iraq.  It was the only leverage the Democrats had to get anything through to the President for signature – – – or we would have gotten NOTHING.

Obama is AGAINST the Iraq War, and even if there was no funding, Bush would have left the troops there without food and water and paychecks just to make the Democrats look bad.  You know it, I know it, because Republicans do evil shit like that.  So Democrats like Obama used it to get something done with the other issues.
 
Sorry people, that’s politics for you – but make no mistake about it, this is a REPUBLICAN War in Iraq, and if Obama was President, we would never have been there to begin with – and his unpopular stance against the war in 2002 proved it.
