Upcoming NCHV Conference Calls Reminder

With support from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Labor, NCHV is hosting several conference calls over the next few months which will cover topics including the GPD application process, how to replicate successful HVRP and GPD programs, and the A-133 audit. These conference calls will provide homeless veteran service providers an opportunity to learn how they can better serve their clients.

This Wednesday, NCHV features a call on the Grant and Per Diem application. Melanie Lilliston, NCHV Director of Technical Assistance and Finance, will discuss eligibility, when applications are typically due, the NOFA process, and how to prepare your organization for the GPD application process. Wednesday, the 1st at 2 p.m. ET
Grant and Per Diem Application: An Introduction

Melanie Lilliston, NCHV Director of Technical Assistance and Finance, will provide general information and guidance on the GPD program and application process. This call will provide an introduction for individuals and homeless veteran service providers who want to learn more about the GPD program and/or are planning to apply for GPD funding for the first time.

OMB Circular A-133: Part Two Conference Call

Ryan Weber, of Washington, D.C.’s Stokes & Company, P.C., will give an overview of what to expect during the audit process, managing internal controls, time line and length of the audit process, and how to process audit findings.

GPD Replicable Models: Part One Conference Call

A panel of representatives from GPD grantee organizations will discuss what makes their programs successful, housing and transportation issues, and how organizations can replicate these programs and strengthen their applications when applying for funding.

Tuesday the 21st at 2 p.m. ET
HVRP Replicable Models: Part One Conference Call

A panel of representatives from HVRP grantee organizations will discuss what makes their programs successful, relationships with DVOPs and LVERs, partnering with local and federal agencies, and how organizations can replicate these programs.


Tuesday, the 28th at 2 p.m. ET

GPD Replicable Models: Part Two Conference Call

A panel of representatives from GPD grantee organizations will discuss what makes their programs successful, housing and transportation issues, and how organizations can replicate these programs and strengthen their applications when applying for funding.
