….YEARS OF TURNING HIS BACK ON TROOPS, VETS AND POWS….

By. Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER

Always quick to get behind any fool blaming someone else for our own problems, the institutionalized and mentally deranged of our veteran, retiree and military population, once totally behind "W", now the most unpopular politician in American history, some vets are actually supporting John McCain.  The unescapable fact that McCain has both openly betrayed his fellow POWS and VETERANS for decades doesn’t matter to some.  I suspect our real issue is Barak Obama’s "tan."

With dozens and, perhaps, hundreds of Bush cronies facing prison and the nation in utter financial collapse from failed "reverse Robin Hood" economics, you can always depend on some to vote themselves into disaster.  I don’t even like Barak Obama, but it has to be obvious that McCain is a small time hustler and Bush clone.  Wasn’t one thief and moron enough for you?  Anyone who doesn’t suspect that we will be learning, over the next few years, that most of the terrorist threats came more from the imaginations of Dick Cheney and Karl Rove than Osama Bin Laden, isn’t "playing with a full deck."

I still enjoy the Limbaugh addicts ranting at how the Democrats were secretly responsible for the Bush giveaways to the rich and years of runaway spending with nothing to show for it.  Trillions of "Bush Debt" has us jobless, homeless and disarmed.  Given one more term, we would be nothing but gated communities and prison  labor camps.

I want veterans to get as much enjoyment out of life as possible.  Since watching America collapse is probably not going to be much of a party except to the Russians, Chinese and a hundred or so other countries, entertainment may have to be from watching those who thought they could buy America, throw away our rights and freedoms and fool enough idiots into never noticing.  Now, even the "semi-rich," the half educated, "dream world Republicans," who look for commies and "ragheads" under their beds, may have to sleep in cars and sell those $10,000 golf clubs.  I wonder if they can still park overnight at the tennis club?  I hear Walmart allows RV parking and they have a new tent community for the homeless near Reno.  They could use those banking and finance skills on the slots.

I guess we could take some pleasure in the fact that the crass thievery and corruption that has wiped out much of the savings of millions of Americans is doing the same for people all around the world.

The part I love most is that we are supposed to, not only lose what we have, but to go into debt for the better part of a trillion dollars so that the ‘ultra-rich’ are protected.  The thieves and liars who partnered with Bush and McCain to TAKE DOWN AMERICA can now get even richer watching the rest of us drown.

Watching stupid Democrats support the bailout, having little more understanding of economics than the Republican fools who caused the problem in the first place shows us how low we have fallen.

Bailouts are a part of the Bush family history:

1.  When Prescott Bush, ‘granpaw to Dubya,’ lost his bucks in the great depression, the Harriman family covered his losses.  He went on to invest big in Germany, make millions.  The result:  World War 2 and half a million dead American soldiers.

2.  When Dubya lost his cherry in a ‘dry hole’ oil company, the Bin Laden family covered his losses.  I do love the "any port in a storm" ethic, especially when the ‘ports’ are so often "the enemy."

After two disasterous elections where many vets were hoodwinked into voting away their benefits and even their freedoms, I can’t imagine that any would be so stupid as to make it a "three-fer."

I could be wrong.  Betting on dumb has served the right well so far.
