Veterans Job and Resource Fair Nov. 13
The Workforce services Branch along with the VEC and Work2future is holding a Job Fair for veterans on November 13
“State of California Honor a Hero, Hire a Vet Job and Resource Fair” is scheduled for Thursday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Airport Holiday Inn, 1740 North First St. San Jose, CA.
November is the month when we celebrate Veterans Day and Thanksgiving, and so it is appropriate that we honor our men and women who served in the armed forces with this event.
The job fair is free and open to all veterans, National Guard members, reservists returning from active duty, and the public.
We are planning on 60 employers and 20 service organizations, and government agencies will be on hand with information on employment, benefits, training, education and apprenticeships.
