oink_400MILITARY.COM POLL SHOWS 52% OF THOSE “CLAIMING” TO BE ACTIVE DUTY REFUSE TO

SERVE IN MILITARY WITH AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMANDER IN CHIEF

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER

Today’s military dot com poll showed a majority of respondents, claiming active duty status, would either resign or fail to re-enlist rather than serve a “non-white” CINC.  Pre-election polls of fighting men overseas showed a strong majority of enlisted troops supporting Barak Obama with less than 10% support for Obama among officers.  This says some frightening things about our military and how out of touch commanders are from reality.

A poll at Military.com or Army Times is not proof of anything but is a clear indicator of a mindset.  With commanders who allowed abuses of our own soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital, torture of prisoners of war and an admitted willingness of a majority of officers to fire on American citizens in an illegal insurrection against our own Constitution and their oaths, its time for some house cleaning in our military.

Our best military leaders were forced to resign by the Bush Administration so our illegal war in Iraq could start feathering the nests of big oil, Haliburton Corporation and the 5 grand a day mercenaries working for outfits owned by Republican Party bigwigs like Dick DeVos and Eric Prince.  Now the government of Iraq is telling us to “take off” and not to let the door hit us in the ass on the way out.  Ask yourself why?

I have a few similar words of advice for those in our military who don’t like the idea of serving a government committed to law and justice, a government elected by landslide at home and acclaimed around the world.

DON’T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON THE WAY OUT!

The 8 years of corruption has worn our military down, killed thousands, left thousands injured and sick, many without jobs, decent medical care and even shelter.  The fatasses and the “Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon” (as named by Colonel David Hackworth) get fatter and richer and more decorated while the children of the poor deploy, redeploy and redeploy again until, for many, nothing is left to give.

Why does the military have 168 golf courses but lets its heroes sleep in cardboard boxes under bridges?

Rewarded by Americans who support their troops and veterans with “shit and shoved in it,” a tradition the few surviving Vietnam veterans will ever forget, veterans of our current war learn their VA paperwork has been shredded, trashed and burned while their homes are repossessed, their jobs disappear and their families starve.

For those of you who are military commanders oblivious to the welfare of your own soldiers and those who had served under you, please, as so many of you have stated, resign.  Chances are you were never worth a shit in the first place.

There are great opportunities in the private sector for your skills.  You can use those leadership skills to organize and retrieve shopping carts, providing you can beat out members of your former command whose “real world skills” are likely to exceed your own by some margin.

If you count, I suspect you may find that our Air Force has more generals than it has planes.  Perhaps someone could look into this.

It is time we “got real.”  The military is and always has been corrupt.  Civilians and the poor fight our wars,  I was one of them and learned first hand.  Too many of my friends aren’t here to read this.  Now a new generation seems to be relearning the same painful lessons.

With an economy in the toilet for the last 5 years, survival for tens of thousands, now including people forced into the military to avoid prison (where did we see that before?) we have created a military serving from both patriotism and economic duress.  We no longer have citizen soldiers but a permanent corps of people who sacrifice all for their country while the vast majority could care less.

We ducked a bullet by shitcanning McCain, whose history is one of looking on veterans and soldiers as “special interest groups” looking for a handout.  We now call decent weapons and body armour handouts.  Medical care for the wounded is a “handout.”  Compensation for disabled veterans and their families is a “handout.”

How many officers retire and file for PTSD disability benefits, based on the stresses of golfing injuries or the trauma of paper cuts?  The numbers are in the thousands.

If we have to have an officer corps promoted entirely from the ranks to get rid of the whiners then its time do just that.  Its time to turn our military over to fighting men, not service academy hacks and college boys and their cliques.  This idea that our half educated officer corps are, somehow, self appointed Barons and Dukes, serving their feudal master, King Bush the Foolish, is done.

The sewage has risen to the top.  Time to get the skimmer working and restore democratic ideals to our military leadership.
