" The Tribute Lady "

My name is Susan D. Wiseman, " I’m just one mom, of one soldier, from one family who’s lost a loved one to war (My cousin SP4 Guy Lamar Mears, Jr. KIA – Vietnam)… just doing what I can to show my support for our son, SPC David Dale, who returned wounded from IRAQ in May ‘o7, and, to all our troops and, this GREAT NATION!" … through sharing "My Gift of Song".

I’m just a housewife, known as " The Tribute Lady "  through my free online Music Ministry & performances across the country to thousands of vets, troops, 9/11, police, firefighters, rescue workers, & military…due to a number of Tribute songs I’ve been inspired to write over the last several years since  our youngest son was sworn into the Army becoming an M1A2 Tanker serving with 1st CAV out of Fort Hood, Texas, later deploying to IRAQ, then, returning wounded in May ’07.
My music is my personal "THANK YOU" to each & every person who steps forward to serve this GREAT NATION!

I am not a musician. I cannot read or write music. However, I DO realize I’ve been given a gift by God," My Gift of Song" … the title of the upcoming book of the stories behind the songs I’ve been inspired to write.

I can ONLY write when inspired & led. I NEVER know "when" it will happen, but, when "it" does…my whole world stops until I get the "song" out.

People often ask me "where" I get these beautiful, moving melodies, I tell them, "That’s what I feel…in my heart. Literally, like the "chords" of my heart, it’s what I FEEL!"

All my songs are FREE to download… or use on websites, provided proper copyright information is given. LINKS are appreciated, so, others may access the free downloads, also.

All my songs are based on my deep faith in God, love for family, and, my deep appreciation for freedom.
" It Is The Soldier " is the song that has now become the foundation of my music ministry, it was written just days before our youngest son was sworn into the Army…it’s actually my prayer, my cry to God to protect our son.
  • That same titled CD, was awarded …
  • "It Is The Soldier" –  2005 – CD of the Year AWARD
  • Presented by The Military Writer’s Society of America
Many of my songs have been inspired from all the feelings I’ve had as a mom of a soldier, a deployed soldier, a wounded soldier…as well as,  having lost my cousin in war … and, several songs were inspired by fallen soldiers, including the loss of our son’s good friend, CPL John Paul Barta…others were inspired by wounded soldiers, 9/11, police, firefighters, rescue workers, Rolling Thunder, The Vietnam Memorial Wall, The Pentagon Memorial Park project, gold star mothers, Pearl Harbor, Ground Zero, as well as, children suffering from illness.
  • ALL my music is FREE to stream/download…nothing is sold.
