HELP DISABLED VETERANS!
I’m sure 1000’s of disabled Veterans are in the same troubled position as I am. For those of us on VA and SOCIAL SECURITY disability child support each month takes some of our disabled money away from us. I constantly ask myself; "How in the world can the government do this when it barely gives us enough money to survive on as it is?"
I had a nervous breakdown in the Navy in 1969 and was discharged for that very reason. Shockingly! The good old VA determined I had a pre-existing condition and wasn’t deserving of any direct compensation or treatment. All of us know that’s just a ploy to SCREW the Vet’s because the government doesn’t want to properly treat us with service connected disabilities. It’s all about the money isn’t it!
In 1984 I had another nervous breakdown and was treated with electro-shock therapy. During that time I fell from the fourth story hospital window and broke my feet and back. I contribute my 1969 nervous breakdown as being a consequence of not being properly treated by the VA for the one I suffered back in 1984. Another major beef I have with the VA is their policy on dental treatment. A Vet has to be totally disabled before he or she can qualify for dental treatment. THAT’S INSANE!
Does the Va not realize an abscessed tooth can kill a human being?
Did you know if you and your spouse bring in more than $14,200 a year the VA forces you to pay for your medication? How can a family survive on that meager amount of money each year? I think my case is unique! I’m 60+ years old and my children are over 28, married and not living at home. How in their right mind can the government rob me of what little money I need to survive on? remember! It’s all about the MONEY and to hell with DISABLED VETERANS…
