CRISIS IN GAZA: Is the U.S.A an Honest Middle East Broker?

by Joe Allen

Here’s a novel thought, Israel is a Jewish fundamentalist country/organization, with their religious symbol on their flag. Hamas is a Muslim fundamentalist country/organization, with their religious symbol on their flag.

We, in the US, have a separation of church and state. We support one side and their religious doctrine, and say we are an honest broker.

We say we want peace in the Middle East, but instead of offering a real solution based on our values, ie the separation and human rights, we are part of the problem.

Fanning the flames of islamic fundamentalism, by being so one sided in a religious conflict, and asking why do they hate us, is devoid of any sense. Ignorance can only go so far.

Either we step back and become true to our values, or we are condemned to our ignorance, and have responsibility for the death and destruction, that "WE" have enabled and caused as part and parcel of the conflict.

The Muslim fundamentalists are part and parcel the same as their counter part in the other two monolithic religions namely Israel and their Fundamentalist supporters like Pat Robertson and Hagee.

Israel is RESPONSIBLE for Hamas’s growth and continual terror and human rights crimes and violations against the Palestinians.

Hamas is responsible for their abuse of their religion and crimes against civilians, their killing of innocents in the name of religion.

We are responsible as a superpower. This for letting one of the participants in this conflict become entrenched in Washington DC, and we don’t dare tell them what to do.

We are only allowed to ask the one question, How much money and support do you want today?

Can anything be more pathetic???

Truth and Responsibility – two tough items to deal with.
