We all knew this:  Bush brought troops home for “domestic defense” prior to the election.  These were strategically placed, heavily armed and riot trained.  Bush said they were for “disaster control.”  The biggest disaster in American history, thus far, as we also know was Bush himself.

Now, documents released by President Obama about Bush plans indicate that the military along with police forces were being empowered with the “legal right” to arrest members of Congress, the public, set up concentration camps, seize ballot boxes and overthrow our government.

Prior to the election, GOP officials have been working to renew the militias that had been disbanded years ago.  Now, they are again running around the woods, some recent vets, but most on the edge of cardiac arrest, with their “Gun Show” uniforms and assault rifles.

A good friend, living in Sierra Vista, New Mexico called me yesterday.  His is a retired Colonel from Army Special forces with an intel background.  He had been approached by 3 certain 3 star General, normally mainstream Republican, who said he was concerned about the large militia operations going on in their area, one filled with critical intelligence, UAV and biometric research and development centers for the Department of Defense.   People who are hardly “leftist” and considered the top of the “food chain” in our military are deeply concerned about domestic terrorism tied to Republican extremism.

With the election having gone very much against the Republicans, especially with many traditional GOP states going heavily Democratic, any chance of a coup was crushed.  Though most of the press has always been controlled, albeit by itself, it had become obvious that most papers and networks had moved behind Obama and that the international community would look on a McCain/Bush overthrow of America much the same as they saw the Bush elections, 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq, as desperate acts of extremists.

An honest look at what went on during the Oklahoma City terrorist attack is that Timothy McVeigh, a member of the GOP led Michigan Militia (partially sponsored by tobacco companies) attack a federal building in the US, murdering nearly 200 people including an entire day care class.

We seem to be moving that same direction, with the GOP seeking to mobilize their “fly over state” base added to the wealth of racist animosity against Obama in place like Idaho, Wyoming and Utah.  That thousands of political extremists with views traditionally hostile to the federal government being encouraged, again, by a major political party is likely to lead to more violence.

With companies like Cabela’s and Gander Mountain cashing a record number of unemployment checks to pay for guns and ammunition, the lunatic fringe of white supremacists, closet homosexuals and evangelical Christians who make up the bulk of the non-country club GOP support seem to be deluding themselves into an imaginary military confrontation with the United States.

Thus, the hills around Sierra Vista are filled with gun totin’, fag hatin’ good ole boys.  TV wrestling, monster truck rallies, NASCAR and church will all have to wait until the current flurry of bigotry and hatred dies down.  What we can expect is an attack somewhere, same as last time, with lots of dead children and a stooge to blame, always former Army or Marines, always “conservative” but always denied by friends, associates, neighbors and their “comrades in arms” at the local militia meeting.
