“THE RIGHT” IS ADVOCATING VIOLENCE, IS THAT A REASONABLE ANSWER?

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER

This week began with Republicans going after Democrats who allowed crooked executives at AIG and other companies to pay themselves huge bonuses out of taxpayer money.  Then, a few days later, when Democrats, caught and embarrassed, tried to take the money back, Republicans “flip flopped” and are fighting to let the crooks keep the money.  Republicans hope the crooks will “split the take” by giving part of the stolen money to the GOP.

PLAYED FOR “CHUMPS”

It’s one thing discovering the politicians you supported for 8 years on the basis of abortion issues and phony religion were stealing you blind and laughing at you behind your back.  Its quite something else when they openly admit it and write you, the right, the Christian fundamentalists, the “conservatives” off entirely as a waste of time.

They think “they” lost the election because of “you” and not a history of failure and embarrassing stupidity.  Now all we see is a call for violence and revolution.  Where should it start?

SMOKE AND MIRRORS

There seems to be a cycle of change.  Things are started, sometimes out of real need for change but too often by lies and propaganda.  We call this beginning “grass roots” and good people get involved somtimes for good causes, but usually, if it supports something going on in politics, those “good people” are making total asses of themselves.

They always find out in the end, usually after the damage is done and the leader they worship is found with bank accounts stuffed with payoffs or zooming around the world in an oil company jet.

TWO POLITICAL PARTIES, AN AMERICAN JOKE

We have had a “two party system” here from day one.  The real roots were simple.  Some wanted freedom from Britain and others, the Federalists, needed British banking to keep making money.  War is one thing but profit something else.  Historians love covering up this one.  Check into why the Federalists disappeared after the War of 1812.  Were they, perhaps, on the wrong side?

We have little in our history but conflict, for years over slavery, then reconstruction, then civil rights with party roles switching with Dixie-crat racists jumping from the Democratic party to the Republicans in the last couple of decades.  Race is still a huge issue, the biggest in our last election.  Nobody talks about it, nobody admits it and no intelligent person can give a reason for it, that’s for sure.

“MOJO MATH”  THE PHONY “FREE MARKET”

For most of our history, Americans were farmers.  Now our only farm issues are the huge subsidies paid, mostly, to corporate farms for either not growing things or growing things nobody needs.  To this we added the biofuels scam, the mysterious idea that $11 a gallon ethanol would make $2 a gallon gasoline cheaper.  An economist must have thought this up.

Food prices went up, eggs, milk, cheese, flour, sugar, cereals, the foods Americans eat, Americans who can’t afford to pay more had to pay alot more.  Profits for food companies went thru the roof while many other companies went broke.  Thank government for that.

Best government money can buy…..

You can’t buy ethanol, most of the plants are bankrupt but the corn feeds pigs and you can buy pork for under $1 a pound now, a price we hadn’t seen for 40 years.

BIG CROOKS USED TO BE LITTLE CROOKS

Politics begins at home, usually close to home, with local parties controlling judges, local commissions, councils and supervisors.  The hopeful that start in this process are soon corrupted by a golf game or free vacation into voting for whatever they are told to.

This is another American tradition.  Leave your honesty at the door.  The party has to have money to win elections.  We get money by doing favors for supporters who donate money.

Even though what we are asked to do hurts the people and is dishonest, we do it anyway because if we don’t win, they win and if “they” win, they will do some unnamed great evil.

This is how your utility bills stay so high, how phone calls used to cost .50 a minute to call the town next door and now calling Russia is .02 a minute.  This also explains how gas can go up when oil goes down or bread prices go up when wheat prices go down.  Donate enough money somewhere and “free market economics” disappear…”poof.”

Anyone ever notice that the same party that complains about “Mexicans” coming into the country also employs all of them?  Its all just a big joke and the joke is on you.

VIOLENCE WORKED SO WELL FOR THEM……

No wonder violence is seen as the answer.  Hitler threw his political enemies into concentration camps and built a world class economy, financed by powerful Americans, out of the ashes of bankruptcy.

Stalin murdered millions and built a Russian economy that could build planes and rockets but wasn’t so good at indoor toilets and electricity.

Look at China today.  It took murdering 11 million people to reform China so that they  could lend us the money needed to become the “light of democracy.”

Murdering people seems to always be the answer.  Presidents get shot at more than troops at any front.  If “the right” has decided to go back to killing Federal judges and blowing things up, where are they going to start?

WHO SHOULD IDIOTS KILL, OTHERS OR THEMSELVES?

Who is the enemy?

Are the useless Democrats worth blowing up?  I find that hard to imagine.

Wouldn’t having simply not voted for total idiots have been easier in the first place?  One might think so but it isn’t as sexy as a truckload of fertilizer and diesel fuel.

Now that “the right” is blaming Wall Street for America’s wrong and not labor unions and teachers, we may finally be able to start agreeing on something.  I tend to want to stop short of blowing things up, though.

TWO PARTIES, SAME POLITICS

I tend to look at a couple of solutions that are much less likely to lead to lethal injection.

We could, as we had tried once or twice in the past, stop supporting political parties that either openly support Wall Street or are secretly doing for reasons none of us agree on.  We do agree that we are flushing money down a toilet.

However, nobody seems to understand what money is, where it comes from and how we make it.  We do know that if you don’t have it, you can get awfully hungry.

We also see people who steal flying around the world in private jets.

Years ago, Ross Perot explained to us some simple facts.  If you borrow money, you pay it back.  If you don’t have money, you shouldn’t spend it.

He formed a political party called “United We Stand” and, for a day or two, people joined and listened.  Then “they” imploded, like political parties do when free people are left to disagree with each other.

The other parties don’t implode.  Why is that?

Could it be that they simply take orders from “above?”
