NOTES FROM A VETERAN AND OFFICIAL “ECONOMIST NERD”
THERE ARE REALLY SOME “DUMDUM’S” IN THE PRESS CORPS

I actually sat and watched the entire press conference last night. Obama has high ratings, usually a sign of something being very wrong, and I wanted to get a general view of what is going on.
Of my fellow idiots, I am the one who works in International Finance and the banking sector and am supposed to understand some of this. I will try to keep this short.
PRESS CORPS
There were two decent folks there, the woman asking questions on the Mexico border problem, which is horrific and very threatening to national security and the guy from Army Times who couldn’t imagine he would be called on.
The rest of the reporters were, how do I say this kindly, less qualified than anyone than any group of press I have seen in over 5 decades of watching these things. It is though the press has degenerated into idiocy and when they get to ask real questions to someone who can actually answer them they got nuts. It was horrible to watch.
THE “VETERANS’ PART
There has never been a “veterans question” answered by a president before. For the first time, a president addressed issues, demonstrated good knowledge and promised to deal with specific problems. The funding has been put in place.
Yesterday, one of my friends, 61 years old and 100% disabled, got called in for a Comp and Pension physical trying to cut his benefits. This violates section 38 of the CFR. The VA is still in dangerous hands and I am not sure anyone knows how bad it is. This has to be stopped immediately.
ECONOMICS, THE REALLY BORING PART THAT MATTERS MOST
Obama’s spending plans showed themselves to be a combination of two things:
1. Servicing Bush related debt and buying up “toxic assets” of corrupt financial practices allowed under Bush. This is taking most of the money being spent.
2. Investment in increasing our GNP to 2.6% or better and restoring Regan tax levels so we can service our debt and lower deficits.
ANSWERING THE CRITICS
Financial claims made by critics were pounded flat in an extensive display of detailed economic grasp I have never seen in a president before.
Simply put, Obama blamed the lobbyists for creating utter falsehoods that are being reported.
My take on this, he is right about the defense and financial lobbyists and prettymuch right that the GOP is in “opposition” simply because they have nothing to contribute and don’t understand what is going on.
IS OBAMA RIGHT?
Maybe. For sure, his opponents are wrong. If that makes you right..then he is right. I suggest that some of you watch as much as you can.
Some of it is important to see. Get used to making notes. Think of questions normal humans might have asked if they were there instead of the idiots the press sent.
Compare what is said to outright lies being reported. See if you trust the man. See if you think he is making any sense. Make your own decisions.
One thing is for certain, much “opposition” has one purpose, keeping America crashing into the abyss as long as they can keep stealing. Ask yourself if people like that may be paying for the news you are watching.
WHAT WE ARE ACTUALLY SEEING
The Chinese and Russians are attacking the dollar and want a world currency. This is prettymuch totally nuts.
The dollar is actually getting stronger simply because everyone else is nuts.
Oil prices are firming at over 50 bucks. We are being ripped off at the pump, no secret there but higher oil prices are a sign of economic promise, “moderately” higher oil prices approaching 60 dollars or so but not much higher. Anything else is speculation driven by Wall Street crooks. Been there, done that.
