Miami Beach, FLA – Miami-based Veterans Retreat charity hosted wounded Iraq War veteran CPT Mark Brogan and his wife, Sunny, to five days of sun, fun & flying on Miami Beach.
CPT Brogan was sponsored by Veterans Retreat to fulfill a lifelong goal to learn to fly while enjoying many other outdoor activities Miami has to offer. CPT Brogan, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and other wounds in a 2006 suicide bomber attack, was the first wounded veteran to take advantage of Veterans Retreat’s Introduction to Aviation and Flight Training course with instruction provided by Platinum Aviation of Miami.
