Public Forum May 7 – Washington, D.C.
The CIAV will hold a public forum on Thursday, May 7, 2009 inviting military and veteran communities, OSD, DoD, and Congressional Office staff; non-profit organizations, civic groups, colleges, media, and others to share resources and strengthen our nation’s commitment to our military, veterans, families, and survivors. Discussions and presentations will create a platform for public, private, and community partnerships to deliver solutions and fill gaps in care.
Those who attend the forum will have an opportunity to learn about important issues facing those who serve and solutions to offer in panel discussions by CIAV organizations such as Disabled American Veterans, The Pathway Home, National Veterans Foundation, TAPS, National Military Family Association, and others. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from service members, veterans, families, and survivors about their experiences.
