WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) – Starting in August, military veterans will be getting some assistance with tuition at Wheeling Jesuit University. The school has joined the national Yellow Ribbon Campaign for Vets, which is designed to help veterans with costs that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate. The program, for which the Veterans Administration provides matching funds, will enable veterans to pay for college at private schools as easily as if they attended large public institutions.Air Force veteran Christina Clark, an accounting major at the school, says the program will help her focus more on her education and less on the struggle of paying for it.
