CONGRESSMAN WAMP, "DO NOTHING" EXTREMIST
TROLLS FOR UNDESERVED SUPPORT FROM VETS
By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER
"Wamp the wimp." Thats what we should call him. A former real estate salesman who NEVER SERVED A DAY IN OUR MILITARY but who has co-sponsored several "honor the vets" bills while voting against veterans consistently is looking for our support.
If support comes from the end of a boot, we are glad to offer it. Few politicians have as many "0%" support votes from veterans groups as this guy.
There is no crime in being less than bright. There is no crime in being wrong all the time. If these were crimes, Wamp would be doing life times 10. There is no crime in misleading the public into believing veterans support you by forming a committee and putting out a press release.
After all, some vets aren’t very bright and don’t check to see when they are supporting someone who hurts them and their country.
In this case, we have a congressman from Tennessee trying to emulate former President Bush and Vice President Cheney by hoping to get veterans votes by attaching himself to vital issues:
Wamp supports National Military Appreciation Month.
Wamp supports a day of remembrance for nuclear weapons workers.
Wamp supports a moment of silence so we can all appreciate the sacrifice of veterans.
Wamp fails to actually support veterans, however.
Wamp failed to become a veteran.
Next time you are sick or broke, take Wamp’s moment of silence, perhaps during National Military Appreciation Month, and buy a pack of unfiltered cigarettes.
