"Lest They Be Forgotten."-Filmmaker seeks Alaska veterans

Documentary filmmaker Larry Cappetto is looking for Anchorage-area veterans to interview for his TV series "Lest They Be Forgotten."Cappetto is scheduled to be in Anchorage for interviews on July 11-12 at Kehl’s Legacy Funeral Homes, 11621 Old Seward Highway. The "Lest They Be Forgotten" film series is composed of nine films, honoring veterans from World War II, and the Korea and Vietnam conflicts. Cappetto is working on his 10th and 11th films — on the Holocaust and the Battle of the Bulge, respectively, he said.

     

For his Anchorage trip, Cappetto is looking for war veterans who fought in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Gulf War. He is also looking for Holocaust survivors. Contact Cappetto at 970-254-9262.
