CHINESE GOVERNMENT COVERUP OF DOMESTIC DISCORD
In this morning’s New York Times there is an article written about the very sophisticated methods used and extreme lengths taken by the Red Chinese government this week to block, nullify or spin information on the recent uprising in the Uighur (pronounced Weegar) region of mainlnd China over the past two weeks. The article is here and is a solid read for an American Veteran who wishes to understand the sophisticated use of "spin" by a government.
Why do I include this on a veterans’ web site? The article is about an all out effort of a government to control every aspect of information concerning a vicious situation where in the last few days 156 people have died directly as a result of government violence. It is essentially about The Big Lie. We veterans know a great deal about that. Read this article thoughtfully and with compassion. Do you see any parallels here between what is happening to non-Han Chinese ethnic Turkic peoples in China and what is happening to American veterans? Is there a Big Lie operating with us? Yes? No?
