EVER WONDER WHY THERE IS NO PRESS REPORTING FROM IRAQ
MAYBE WE CAN TALK ABOUT WHAT WE ARE HIDING

Ever wonder why we don’t have even the press coverage we got from Vietnam for our current wars? Many of the photos and films from Vietnam were made in Louisiana, did you know that? Most members of press seldom left the confines of opulant Saigon or DaNang. Thus, we could kill a generation in a war driven by corruption and greed and nobody would know.
We have no draft to supply cannon fodder for a hundred bucks a month but we can sure steal money at a scale that puts Vietnam to shame. What are we hiding? We are hiding, not the illegal war, but a war fought simply to steal. Planned and executed by a pack of bunglers whose only life experiences were oil scams, insider trading and a few 3rd string military types with "country club" combat credentials, what would you expect? You should expect what you have.
Iraq with no electricity, no water, no schools, no jobs, no sewers, nothing but 400 billion dollars spent to build them. What is America really doing? We have 100 thousand troops restricted to camps, no longer allowed to do anything without the permission of the Iraqi government.
We rebuilt Europe after World War 2 for a fifth that money, corrected for inflation. Maybe the Marshall Plan didn’t have as many lobbyists involved as the reconstruction of Iraq. You know how campaign contributions and golf games can run up the bill on any project. By any standards, $350 billion is alot of golf, even for the Pentagon.
We have tens of thousands of mercenaries, some of them, the "Eric Prince" gang, we are told are trying to start a civil war intent on killing off the world’s Muslims. Tall order for a rich fratboy from Grand Rapids, no matter how rich his inlaws.
I loved their work rebuilding after Katrina. It was a classic.
The government of Iraq kicked them out but the Pentagon just gave them a new 20 million dollar contract though we are now told they are a criminal organization. Can someone explain how a company can be hired to work in a country that it is illegal for them to enter? I can’t wait to hear this explanation.
If you wonder how Christian fundamentalism became another way of saying "corrupt and depraved" you have to understand their partnership with government during the Bush years. They had a plan.
The plan, hatched by John Ashcroft, Dick Cheney and George Bush along with a number of estremist religous leaders was to start a religous war in Iraq and broaden it to cover the entire Middle East. This would bring on Armageddon and the entire Republican Party would enjoy the Rapture, floating naked to the side of Jesus.
I wonder if the have Argentinian mistresses and "rent boys" in heaven?
This is exactly the thinking that started the war, not the only reason but one that is, to a fair extent, easy to document and openly admitted. Crack open any "Tea Bagger" or "Birther" and you will find a "rapture" nut.
No nuclear war, no rapture. Don’t you love the idea of electing, sort of, politicans who are publicly dedicated to eliminating all life on Earth?
Approximately a third of Americans believe in rapture, mostly in the rural south and west. Their "preachers" tell them war is, not only inevitable, but desirable, a must to bring on the biblical prophecies. I love the idea of living around people who believe in the brutal killing of 99% of the people they know. Kind of makes you yearn for the sensible restraint of the Third Reich, doesn’t it?
Working as agents for our religous right, mercenary "hit squads" played one side against another through a series of acts, some of which it is not wise to mention here. Suffice it to say that not all terrorist bombings that killed people in Iraq were done by Sunni or Shiite militias.
Since when do "security guards" carry silenced submachine guns?
Fallujah is the classic. Marines had one of their toughest fights since Vietnam, not protecting Blackwater guards sent to protect a food convoy but bailing out a "hit squad" up to "monkey business" and failing miserably as "nutcase phony" pretend soldiers so often do.
The right wing Michigan billionaires that ordered the battle of Fallujah are still flying around in private jets to their private resorts in the Caribbean while the parents of the dead Marines are still looking for answers and getting only years of lies.
I have toured our building projects in Iraq, photographed them and met with leaders there, Christian, Sunni and Shiite. I talk to people there every day, Iraqis, Americans and have close relationships with several groups working to begin the nation building we lied about for years.
Begin.
Talking to a good friend working in a classified occupation yesterday, 125 degrees in Baghdad. Iraq has taken over security and our blast walls are being torn town. We are currently performing almost no function of any kind in Iraq yet we have thousands of "diplomats" who need 10,000 guards to protect them at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars.
They are doing nothing, nothing good, legal or right.
We have enough kitchen workers taking care of our troops to build the pyramids and great wall of China but the lights are still out all over Iraq.
Millions of the most talented Iraqis left their country and are living as refugees around the world. They would come home if they had housing. You can’t build housing as there is no money for that, no water, no sewers and no electricity. How do I know this?
These are the people we needed returned to Iraq to rebuild the country and stabilize it politically. Now Iraq will do the work itself. We are told these are stupid and dirty people, heathens, animals. That is a total lie. The worst of them is smarter than the best person we sent to "help" rebuild Iraq. Iraq, Iran and Syria are advanced countries with well educated populations and excellent people. Everything we are told is a total lie.
We are told that oil production in Iraq is down 90% even after years of one corporation after another rebuilding the oil fields at a cost of endless billions. Iraq still does’t have a single refinery and gasoline is sold out of milk containers after being smuggled in from Turkey. You can see the lines of old oil trucks running north with crude oil and returning with gasoline in an endless line.
Is oil production from Basra and Kirkuk really that low? Of course not or world oil prices would be through the roof. Oil from Basra pumps out into the Gulf, the pipeline was damaged a couple of times, but quickly fixed.
Kirkuk uploads onto the Ceyhan pipeline that empties into the Mediterranean, close to European refineries. The port there is managed by friends and the bad math sets in. We can track the ships loading Iraqi oil, what they carry and where they go. Nothing moves that can’t be tracked by a child yet we manage to know nothing. Is someone being paid not to ask?
6 loading berths pumping Iraqi oil into supertankers but how many of them officially? One or two or, perhaps none? Hey, its an "oil business" thing and we aren’t supposed to be concerned.
How to you think profits have gone up so much since we started pumping oil from Iraq?
I love paying $4 a gallon for gasoline refined from stolen crude oil.
Religous stability in Iraq is the most important goal of their new government. The US policy was to send in religious crusaders like Blackwater to forcibly convert Muslims to Christianity and keep Iraqi Muslims fighting each other in a civil war.
How do Iraqi Christians feel about Blackwater and their help? They are the ones who asked that Blackwater be kicked out of the country. I know the Christian leaders, many are friends and they are highly influential in Iraq. They are also Iraqi first. They love their country and support their government.
They also have to live with their Sunni and Shiite neighbors and don’t want to be slaughtered in a religous war that will kill them and their families in a matter of days.
What kind of future have we built for ourselves in Iraq? As we leave, are Russia, China or Iran going to move in like locusts like they have across Africa?
Driving around Iraq, you see new housing going up, workers with picks and shovels building homes that will have generators supply electricity, trucks haul in water and haul out sewage.
What of the billions that paid for projects never built, both for Iraq or Amerca? Did we build an empire of bases across Iraq and a huge security zone in Baghdad as part of a rational plan or simply as a massive pork project now being bulldozed down as was always planned?
We began the war by trying to replace Saddam with a hated criminal regime that would partner with politically aligned corporations in the rape of Iraq.
We talk about investigating torture. We can investigate as long as nobody really rich has to go to jail.
How many belong in jail because of fraud in Iraq? Tens of thousands?
