Senator Inouye and Defense Appropriations Committee has accepted the Senate Amendment 2559 to HR 3326 tonight as part of a block of amendments accepted into the bill. Which means the Senate agreed to 12 million for Gulf War Illness Research in the DOD CDMRP. The Senate Defense Appropriations Bill still must go thru conference committee of House and Senate to reconcile differences before heading to the President’s desk.
