Amerikans Object to our CiC's Nobel Prize – Imagine that!

Today’s New York Times is running a series of articles of interest to veterans and one concerns the background noise behind the President/Commander in Chief’s winning of the Nobel Prize.  As usual, the Reich Wing Amerikan Scream and Screech Party that often frequents this site is screaming bloody murder. They have sent their Amerikan Media Gestappo out in full force.  I laughed myself to sleep last night.  To quote Bugs Bunny,"What a bunch of maroons!". The article is here. Way to go Mr. President!

Here is a quote from the Chairman of the Noble Peace Prize Committee in Norway. "The question we have to ask is who has done the most in the previous year to enhance peace in the world. And who has done more than Barack Obama?" THORBJOERN JAGLAND, chairman of the Nobel Committee.

Our President has won the Nobel Peace Prize and Amerikans scream! What does that say? God help us!

Moving right along with today’s news of great informative value to American veterans (the Amerikans won’t be educated, so I will just address myself to the Americans among today’s readers) we have other articles.

(I am still laughing at these idiots…I cannot help myself…let me catch my breath from laughing and we can move on in a minute…Yuk Yuk Yuk….there we go….I can breathe now).

Here is an article telling us the story of the general named McChrystal outlining his plan for more troops in Afghanistan to the President. I am sure that the President was respectful which is more than I can say for the Amerikans on this website relative to the Commander in Chief. The article is entitled "Obama Hears General’s Troop Request for Afghanistan".

Personally, I would have said "Thanks for the work" and sent him packing.  More troops?  To do exactly what?  To complete what mission?  Against which of our enemies?  To achieve what ends?  At what exorbidant cost?  Who is paying for this war industry folly? We are!  And who wins?

The super elites with stocks and bonds in their war industry financial portfolios win. No thanks.  No more American and foreign deaths in an overseas string of religious wars that we have interjected ourselves into…for….reasons unknown as far as I can tell.

Now here is an interesting story! It seems that the U.S. government is sitting on $16.7 billion dollars of World War II War Bonds that were never cashed in by the holders.  The various states want the federal government to release that money to the holders or the descendants of the holders now.  The states need the money in the hands of their residents now.

The Feds are balking.  What a country!  You gotta’ love it!  The things we get involved in and yes, once again, it is all tied up in war monies.  Is there any other kind of money ever really made in this country?  Just asking.

In their one paragraph blurb called ON THIS DAY the New York Times ran the following sentence: "On Oct. 10, 1973, Vice President Spiro T. Agnew pleaded no contest to one count of federal income tax evasion and resigned his office."  The things one can remember when one really tries, eh?  They were the days, huh? Yeah, and the Reich Wing screams about Obama!  They are suffering from dementia I think. Or maybe its selective memory.

In today’s Washington Post there is an article entitled "Reactions Similar Only In Their Intensity" concerning Amerikans screaming about Obama’s Nobel Prize award.  I fear for this country.  What does this say about us?  The article is here.

Here is a very disturbing article that is a must read for all the Amerikans on this web site.  It seems that in Florida a Congresswoman named Schulz (D-Fl) is running for reelection.  I will just paste a short blurb run by the Post here.  You can judge for yourself how to react to this:

"FILE – In a Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 photo, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., gestures during a news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington following a hearing on breast cancer legislation by the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on Health. Robert Lowry, a South Florida Republican candidate vying to replace Democratic congresswoman Deborah Wasserman Schultz, says it was a mistake to fire at a full-body silhouette with Wasserman Schultz’ initials written next to its head during a weekly meeting of the Southeast Broward Republican Club held at a gun range on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009."

Aren’t you proud to be an Amerikan?  Doesn’t this really make your heart pound with pride?

Do you understand what you are doing to my country?  Just asking.

CWO3 Tom Barnes, USCG (Ret.)
