Rochester Police Attack Peaceful Afghanistan War Protesters

Citizens assembling and protesting the imbecility of the eight-year Afghanistan War were attacked and arrested en masse by the Rochester, New York Police Department October 5. Business as usual in America.

The protesters feel that Operation Enduring Freedom must end. The Rochester police feel the war protestors must not speak.

Putting aside the appalling narcissistic entitlement of police who routinely suppress lawful protest, as veterans and veterans’ advocates please consider contacting your members of Congress to halt this depraved war. Good resources include Iraq Veterans Against the War and Rethink Afghanistan.

In the video, around the five-minute point, the police decided too much of the First Amendment is a bad thing.

David Moore. is the Rochester Chief of Police. Please email [email protected] and stick up for your fellow citizens.
