A friend of mine named Doug who is a native New Yorker with a fine eye for news of importance and solid writing sent this article to me early this morning.  It is an Op-Ed piece from today’s New York Times written by an Iraq war veteran named Lee Kelley.

It is is short and powerful and gets directly to the point of why Mr. Kelley is not returning to Iraq.  He has a family and a life and Iraq does not fit into that scenario. No further comment is needed from me.  The article is here.
