Veteran Falls Cook out Preview at Falls Site Granbury,Tx

This past Saturday’s cookout was a huge success! We served around 500 who came out to see the progress of the Veteran Falls Memorial Park site. Families came with there children and spent a beautiful afternoon seeing, in most case’s for the first time, the waterfall that is being built to honor our veterans and there families in the war on terrorism and all veterans who have served to preserve our freedom

We saw the Red river rivalry on the monitors that were a part of Hanson Precast’s outdoor events trailer. Hanson so generously provided Hamburgers and hotdogs for the crowd along with table,chairs,shade and two of the greatest guy’s in Mario and Rueben who set up, cooked and helped clean up.Thanks Mario and Rueben and all the Hanson group we could not have done it with out you!

Also special thanks to Dublin Dr. Pepper and Chicken Express (sweet tea), you two have build such a customer base of your two drink specialties that were it not for your reputations I fear we would not have had the turn out we did! Many thanks. 

Sunbelt rental provided the Skylift that many people (not afraid of heights) were able to go up and get a birds eye view of the Falls site that few will ever experience! Also Sunbelt has provided a Bobcat and Telehandler that were available and  provided a great photo op for parents to take of their kids (wink – wink) operating the equipment.

All in all it was a glorious day and I believe everyone had a great time and they were able to see that this project is going to be a beautiful addition the other tributes around the country that do not begin to thank the servicemen and women of  this country for there sacrifice.
