more troops to AfghanistanThe Associated Press has posted an article entitled General says Afghan troop surge will take longer and I am sure that this surprises no one who reads this website regularly.

It looks as if American troops are going to be in western and central Asia for a very, very long time.  There is obviously another agenda at work here besides the one that has been stated by our government. 

This is a "foot in the door" for American and Western corporations to maintain some sort of hold on natural resources in that area.  That much is becoming clearer and clearer. What we have been told is apparently a cover story to get American troops into that region to secure that foothold.

How do these people sleep at night?
