In today’s Politics Daily blurb entitled Allegation: Some Contractors in Afghanistan Paying Protection Money to Taliban we find out that the Taliban are able to buy sophisticated weaponry to fight U.S. forces mostly because U.S. contractors in Afghanistan are paying Taliban chieftans big money to leave them and their construction projects alone!
In essence U.S. government money that is initially paid to U.S. contractors is ultimately financing Taliban offenses against U.S. troops in their country. We read that sometimes Taliban forces are actually hired to work as site security. Can you believe this?
What a crazy way to wage a war and then hide it from the American people!
